i use a lot shield, some time in arena haste
cure is never enough
i use weaken a lot in arena
(all prof are at 35-36 i don't have much time to cackefest and item world and they are BORING)

i'm quite fine, my main problem is the dammit spirit and magic attack

at level 60 there is only focused aura that is useful
but at level 70: bewilder, item slot, regen :sbav:

If you can afford the extra battle item slot trainer...I'd recommend getting it...it is very helpful (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Just a short question, I'm around L19 but should I try to buy prism items early (If they have better stats scalled) or its better to focus on cheaper low level stuff and simply get better things once I will get to higher arena levels?

Looking to start selling and making money. How do you tell whats worth selling and whats not? Also how do you get the screen shot of just the stats for linking?

look at other wts shops and auctions to check what the current "hot" items are (ie. high evade, elementalist, etc.)

you can use the equip stat calc to check how your items stak up against those in other shops.
Hit "c" on an item to pring up a popup window with the stats.

ahem i have another question for somethign that i don't think so abovious

when i use a DW stile, the statistic in my equip section gives me adm, acc, parry, etc, like a sum of the stats of MH and OH weapons plus the bonuses given from character stats

when i go on a fight, the main hand strikes with the sum of all bonuses, or only with his bonuses?

the 50% parry bonus in OH is applied in fight or yet in statistic page?
OH weapon strikes with is own adm reduced, or with overall adm reduced by 50-1%?
both weapons strikes with his own accuracy bonus or with the sum of both?

just little curiosities about how bonuses work...

Either way works, as long as the item you get has good base stats.

Disadvantage of buying Prism stuff: Burden/Interference get higher with the item's level and aren't scaled down to player's level.
Disadvantage of buying low level stuff: You have to level it yourself.

Isn't that true with most items?

Prism in particular (being excessively overlelved for most characters) tends to have higher interference and burden than items they find themseves, but yes, it hold for all items, the higher the level the higher the burden/int is likely to be.

If you <3 item world you are technically better of getting equip of the same scaled stats closer to your level.

Eventually, you get to the point where you have to live in IW because hardly anything better becomes available.

thinking of finally going up aginst Konata either sometime today or tomorrow. any advice for a mage build character?

i am thinking of equipping myself with a battlecaster rapier and battlecaster shield and just wear the usual elementalist amor.

since konata is resistive against all kinds of offensive spells but wind and soul, which i do not have, so i am thinking of using this strategy against her...

1. silence
2. proc PA
3. cast poison while PA is in effect
4. elec and then fire while PA is still in effect
5. repeat steps 2 to 4...

what do you guys think?

Konata can be beaten with PA and poison alone, I wouldnt bother with spellcasting against her. I don't think silence is even neccesary since petanko smash isn't a 1hko. (Spark if you want to be safe) I used weaken and bewilder against her.
If I remember correctly her hp is about 4-5x what a boss hp is, but she doesn't hit any harder.

Edit: IE, I recommend saving the battlecaster stuff and holy spell spam for mikuru/Ryouko/Yuki, and just taking your best non-battlecaster PA rapier/block shield/evade gear for Konata and poison her to death.

Konata is a joke, should be downgraded to a boss. I killed her spamming skills when PA is up and only used 1 mana potion for the whole battle. You can probably do it PA + poison without using mana potions.

Then FSM should become a boss too. I can already do it with 2-4 average pots using PA/Poison and my equipment sucks.

i even killed konata on the wrong difficulty setting when i came from the iw (heroic), on heroic she is just somewhat as hard as yuki on normal.

The point was not how many items I used to beat her. Her stats are closer to that of a boss than a legendary.

And the problem I'm having is simple, I'm taking tons of damage now when I was tanking enemies just a few levels ago. Is it just my armor or I am using the wrong abilities too? What's wrong with my build cause I'm struggling in grindfest on normal (I wasn't before) and don't get me started on stuff like Arena and random encounters (still on normal). Any advice on what to fix?
