No real problems, mix of curious and hopes to avoid problems later on. Current plan is to train up loot related drop skills, sell off what I can't use, save up my credits, and try to get some exquisite or better equipment.

Try to lower strength and keep the attributes pretty even. Going ahead too far in one means you'll have less of the other stats, which you really need too. 2 points of dexterity gives the same amount of base damage as one point of strength for example, and it gives more crit and evade.

If wasting time is your forte, I suppose. The new hover ability is only useful for forged gear.

Nope, the new hover is essentially a built-in base calculator. It's not showing the unmodified values, same as our bad scripts.

Need a little clarification on whats in the wiki about wearing a full set of gear. What exactly has to match on all pieces? All four (quality, prefix, tier, and suffix) or can it be just have to be same prefix/tier?

Only armor type matters. Leather, Shade, Kevlar are all light for example. Prefix doesn't matter, tier doesn't matter. As long as you're wearing a full set of light, you'll get the bonuses, any combination is allowed.
Same goes for heavy and cloth.

Please look at your proficiencies for DW and 2H. Niten Ichi does not give proficieny to both art, but make use of it. In other words, It only make use of what already there but does not contribute back. With your low proficiency, I bet your damage is very very low. Why don't you play in DW style or 2H style first before continuing playing with Niten Ichi.

Willow rolls dark naturally, it's of focus so that's why it has MC, and the prefix is fiery so it rolled fire damage. I don't know what the hell you think is wrong, but you're wrong.

with current patch, clubs gain quite popularity while rapier still everyone's darling. what about axe?

With the same restrain of cost, leather or shade?
shades need fragments to upgrade, yet leathers are somewhat inferior. Opinion?

Any way to raise damage from spike shield?
all I see from my spike is 10% to 25% (rare) counter. can we raised it to, like, 50%?

I'm still trapped at IW since yesterday (it is really boring; I ate, I slept, and I fapped on it). At hard difficulty, all is enjoyable but still require quite amount of pots. I already consumed 4 pots in 100 rounds I played. Is it too much? How to lower this mana consumption?

I guess I never took a very close look at Willow staves before.

Though, I thought MC on a staff capped at 25%?

Axe is still the way to go for rolling with a max damage setup, problem is actually that surviving PFUDOR without stun is harder. The 10% parry is noticeable, but it's not gamebreaking enough to get a club for IMO. Rapier is a must as always, whether DW or 1H.

Unless you can snipe some decent shade somewhere, leather is easier to make work of with a low budget because of the guaranteed damage reduction of PMI. Evade can still fail you when you run with a low percentage. Just don't forge too much unless it's an amazing protection piece.

Spike shield is mainly for the proc or elemental mitigation, the damage will stay crap no matter what you do (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

To be honest, there's not really much to be said. Cast in spirit stance and focus when you have some leftover overcharge, maybe featherweight if it's really a big problem. Might want to dump some points into WIS if it's low, but that's about it. It'll get better with higher level and better equipment.

1. Axe have more damage than Club... so yes, they are used in higher difficulties too (for DW)...
...use Club if it have more damage than your better Axe, or if the damage difference is not significant...

2. Shade. (Evade > PMI)

4. The Strategy is: Increase your Level (and gear) a lot and it will be easy (Lv.300ish will be fine... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) )

For mana conservation: Buy Innate Arcana / Raise your Supportive prof (Deprec too if you use it)...
...don't worry about using too many potions, you will earn a lot when you have Lv.200+ (also it is very cheap in WTS threads)... train "Pack Rat" (max it if you can) and abuse of potions if is needed...

The term "marathon"'s been mentioned several times like it's some kind of arena stage. But I don't see any such arena challenge, nor an entry about it on the wiki. Is it just jargon for some other challenge; or is it something I'm overlooking or don't have access to?

Lv 225, 250 and 300 arenas are known as marathons.
