I think as melee, I rather spent 8 AP for +5% damage than 11 AP for +10% or whatever healing I get from the holy rating boost. I'm usually depending on greater healing potions, weaken, shield, whatever for damage reduction already, so +10% boost to my cure spell is no way near -10% damage. Maybe if I got the Regen spell, I'll consider that path, what do others think?

Holy Rating does not affect regen.

weaken is a good spell but the problem is that it doesn't prevent monsters to perform magical or spirit attack and dammit that shit hurts a lot, using even poison to gain a turn before the cast, is a major drain of mp so i was thinking about that spell to gain some turns while killing minions, not putted at sleep QUOTE(buktore @ Dec 2 2010, 14:52)  @ tribalspirit You like Sleep? You must use Bewilder to reduce magic and special attack. It's no good with Weaken. It is beyond Lv.70 that you can acquire this. This post has been edited by sauriu: Dec 2 2010, 14:39

maybe i will seriouly give a try to sleep in this 20 levels, using it at the start of the round, while i bully the mob

You're melee, right?
Do you use Supportive spells? start now if you don't.
Your first relieve will be at LV.70 ... Regen IS good! Once you LV.90 obtains X-Attack, basically you just turn from normal saiyan into super saiyan and at LV.100 and gain Focused Aura and Ascended title, you turns super saiyan 2.
If you still find the game @Normal still difficult after LV.100, you're doing it wrong.
PS. Go kill all the boss if you still not yet defeated them.

i use a lot shield, some time in arena haste cure is never enough i use weaken a lot in arena (all prof are at 35-36 i don't have much time to cackefest and item world and they are BORING)
i'm quite fine, my main problem is the dammit spirit and magic attack
at level 60 there is only focused aura that is useful but at level 70: bewilder, item slot, regen :sbav:

What you use Barrier for? You can acquire this with Lv.50. ... I have never used that magic. I don't acquire it before that (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Edit: Yeah, "Blue Aura" to activate the means there. I did something over here. the spirit and magic attacks won't be a problem once you get silence but until just make use of poison to slow down their sp and mp regen...

dual wield or niten (for some parry and )+ haste and SV + gear with 24+ flee helped me beat those arena challenges. These days you can simply use scrolls as an extra buff (reliable because they restock, but it might more expensive)

Anyway the token doesn't do anything yet.

Which hath perk should I get?
My choices:
1) Rainbow Aura
con: +50 % Health/Magic/Spirit Points regeneration , +2 to all Primary Attributes
don't care for: # +2 % bonus to Fire, Cold, Elec, Wind, Dark and Holy Elemental Ratings , +77 % Power
don't want: # +77 % bonus to gained EXP (because I want my equips to catch up on me in the IW, and for that I need to slow down my lvling...)
2) Stock Options
But are the money perks worth it...?
3) Innate Arcana IV
But I am not using the third slot anyway, so it is just 15% mana boost, really.
4) Dæmon Duality
But I don't use spirit attacks, so is Increases attack damage and magic damage by 5%.worth it? It is, after all, just one overcharge level, right...? I just maxed out the ones I have...
At this point I am thinking 1) and 3), but I am not sure about the order. Any thought?

my DW has 19%parry i tryed a full cloth set with overall 22% evade but i was taking even more dmg because of low protection and resist i find as compromise mixing kevlar and cloth 16% evade, 20% parry, 18% resist, with a nice boosts of attributes points... 27 interference and 40 burden meh thanks for the advices.. i will try to hold on, adding shadow veil, silence and a pack rat point, spamming scrolls and potions

1. Don't buy perk, give it to me instead. 2. Sell it, buy porn, and be happy. 3. Rainbow Aura or IA4, I really can't say.

What's your Offhand?
From my past experience, DW are not really good at very low LV., Offhand Strike hardly proc, Hp and Evade still low and with no Shield, Mind Raper & the gang are a force to be reckoned with..
I use 1H around your LV, switch to DW at about LV.70
If you want to hang on, don't try anything fancy yet, try focus on staying alive first, use a standard high parry dagger for offhand is probably your best bet.

try training up your support prof for shield. it helps a lot when you are going up against many monsters or those that can do double turns on you.
at support prof of 100.22, shield absorbs 33.1 points of physical attack damage.

I used shield and SV as some buffer for my lower defence for my higher flee silk gear . I relied on my flee and some resist (10 or so) against magic and spirit attacks (and i died quite some times for it ). I didn't think that that few points of defence was that usefull by having a higher burden (didn't have a decent kevlar piece back then, so it lowered my speed a little if i used light armour) and higher interference (incase that i really needed that weaken to work) I did use alot of mana potions and draughts in the arena for keeping my protection spells up. Haste was probably one of the better spells , eventhough expensive. @red_piotrus If you don't want most of the aura abilities, than rainbow aura is not a good choice (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) edit* the stock options quote was outdated when hath was like 1,75k, but maybe a nice read. You could multiply the numbers by 2 times, since hath sells for 3,5-4k now.
