What's the relation between difficulty and credit drops? I was trying to increase drop by playing on Battletoads, but hell, it still drop 11 to 20 credits! And out of curiosity, I play at Nightmare. Hmmm, some 40C and 60C drops there.
(1) Is it normal? Why lower difficulty yield better credit?
(2) I usually play at Hell or Nintendo to have monster survive long enough for me to gain proficiency (which is still as low as ever), What's so great about rapid leveling if it means less credit to have?
(3) I read that level doesn't improve credit drops, am I wrong to assume that player with 300+ level can easily make few thousand of credits so I can mooch them off by asking newb discount?
http://ehwiki.org/wiki/difficulty#Challenge_LevelEach difficulty above normal up to Nintendo adds 25% per tier, Nintendo to IWBTH add 50% per tier. Grindfests give less than Arena challenges. Which is why you might have been getting 40/60c drops.
Higher level means more spells, more abilities, better equipment scaling, more arena levels. More everything really.
