RL has 75% resist vs. everything. You may well be able to win without it, but it will take as long as a BT/IWBTH clear would with it because you won't be able to knock that resist down to a much more reasonable 40% or so, plus the MMI bonus. A bit of cycling to set up procs to explode (and more importantly, get that -25 specific resist) might even be worth it. Be prepared with some SP pots and maybe Scrolls of Life to eat some SP attacks. Other than that Regen will cover you. He doesn't have that absurd an amount of HP at Normal, but you'll be doing absolute shit for damage. Can you link your gear? This post has been edited by PK678353: Aug 9 2013, 21:03

QUOTE(wwgenesis @ Aug 9 2013, 09:38) Oh and how do you manage to find the current value of the equipment in your inventory? I have the following items in my inventory but am unsure of their value ... [ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/vROvFcR.pngTake everything below Superior and sell them to the Bazaar, there's no demand for them from other players. Some exceptions do exist, Ethereal, Power and Shade equipments or weapons that deal out heavy damages hold some value for the Fine class but by and large they are mostly Bazaar fodder.

Soooo tantalizing. Yes, put your credits in there. Just don't expect to immediately notice the difference...it's awful gradual. But it works, have faith. I also recommend changing playing styles too, I suspect an undocumented bonus from changing from any long term used styles to anything you never usually use. Which is absolutely unprovable and very susceptible to bias, but possibly rewarding.

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) Why would it be worth so little compared to other items though? As far as I can tell, the stats of it matches most of the other 100k+ items. slaughter on dagger is mostly useless, since daggers and wakis are weakest damage wise. Wakis of course are rarer and have a different utilization (niten). Nimble or balance suffix on daggers would have utility in offhand and would be more sought after.

Why can't slaughter be used in the offhand?

nothing's stopping you. i said it's not sought after due to the suffix not being as useful as the others is all. a deeper explanation is that only half the attack from offhand weapon is added, while 50% of accuracy is added to offhand strike chance, and +50% bonus to parry stat. So the gains from pumping damage in offhand is not as useful.

QUOTE(Yuuki17 @ Aug 8 2013, 06:28) Estimated max monster PL encounter:【If level + difficulty modifier is 100+】((Player's effective level + Difficulty Modifier) ^ 1.27) - 247? IWBTH is estimated at +100 for modifier The system is biased towards picking monsters closer to the PL cap. So you will mostly face monsters around 1344PL, in IWBTH anyway. Unfortunately, that formula is outdated. As stated in the wiki data thread, it's been noted a few times, as well. So for me during this screenshot below: ((209+100)^1.27)-247 would be 1206. I've been fighting him for several levels already.

I wrote, "estimated" & left the question mark in the formula to indicate this. Until a more accurate formula is found, it should give an idea of why they haven't seen their monsters though.
