Hey folks,
I finally hit the 250 hath mark, mostly due to not spending it on equipment (or anything else for that matter) and I'm looking to get some pros/cons on suggestons on what to sepnd it on. Since it's worth about 2 million credits (approximately), I figure I have the following main viable options:
1) Activating the Inate Arcana III ability, since I have already have I & II activated. 2) Activate the Thinking Cap ability. 3) Activate the Vigorous Vitality ability. 4) Activate the Crystarium I ability, whcih could help with my monster upgrading. 5) Convert the hath to credits and use them to power my drops training (all at 60% complete), but would probably lean towards luck of the draw, which would most like bump that up 3 levels at best, maybe 4 if I'm lucky). 6) use it go go equipment hunting for better 1H and side weapons, and probably better shade armor.
Suggestions and or other ideas not listed here?
Also, while this may sound like a real dumb question, but since the last upgrade, I haven't played too much with the mage spells at all, especially since i play as a DW/2H Light armor fighter most of the time. With the last upgrade though is it worth it to pick up the spells and work it as a hybrid setup?
laters,
RRViper (if it is possible, then it might be worth working on the proficiencies in those areas)

If you're melee, save up and get resplendent regeneration definitely. Oh and no hybrid is not good.

Marvin you don't have to have it leveled fully, either. You can PM and ask for just partial leveling, say 6 or 7 IWBTH runs, and then pay in items. It's worth it to ask to see what kind of options you have available to you.

Go to Wolfgirl's Free Shop and get the equipments that you need for free. Arialinnoc's free shop also has free equipments, but more importantly Arialinnoc will give you free stacks of potion (100 HHP, 50 HMP). You have 5 battle slots distribute the potions to your preference, and no they don't get replaced automatically in battle. It doesn't matter what level you play at - there's no penalty for dying - but if you want to earn the clearance bonus (however paltry it may be) by finishing the Arena level, then play at a safer level. Arena drops the most credits but has a cool down period of 24 hours (or the next Dawn of the Day), better make it count if earning credits is the objective.

QUOTE(Marvin666 @ Aug 5 2013, 02:08) 380K for my axe, 235K for the rapier, but the saving would be offset by having to buy materials/bindings/artifacts. If all 4 of my monsters bring me a binding of slaughter and destruction, I'm all set (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Please post the link to the axe once more, better yet pm it to me. I'd like to examine my options now that you have finally put a price tag on the axe.

I think that was the cost to have one of the IW service folks level his axe (that he's keeping) and rapier up. Martin, good luck with the 4 bindings of slaughter. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) That's possible but the price he stated seem awfully good for 10 rounds of IW at IWBTH (or is it 13 rounds now). Anyways, I was asking about his second axe, now that he has acquired his rapier. 4 Bindings of Slaughter from 4 critters all at once, you'd probably have a better chance of winning your whichever National Lotteries' Jackpot.

yes. it's one of heavy's advantages (assuming you use it). Also, now that mobs come in packs, you'll get 3+ giants trying to CRUSH you and it hurts. This post has been edited by etothex: Aug 6 2013, 00:54

Just go and do some GF at the level you desire. If you get killed go back in again and again until you reach the levels that open up the next Arena level. Do those Arena levels at Normal to ensure that you get the level clearance bonus and repeat the process by doing the Grindfest. You can easily reach 70th or 80th level in a few hours of grinding it out. While you are grinding it out, keep an eye on the clock and try to hit the hourlies, max exp and credits are found in the hourlies. I can't give you anything right now because I am in IW but pm me with what you are using maybe I can help you later, if and when I do get out of IW.

Ok, so due to trying RoB stuff way early and blowing 6 tokens on wasted attempts because I was getting one-shotted (before I had spark of life), I've fallen behind on my RoB capabilities. As in, being level 209 I can do up to and including the lv 200 RoB. However, I've never done Real Life -OR- FSM. I'm currently at 2 tokens, and I know I'll do them both eventually, but the question is this: which should I do first? 3 tokens to get 50k (16,667 credits per token) plus a Tshirt, or 5 tokens to get 150k (30k credits per token) plus a noodle.
Second question: should I try FSM on BT or IWBTH or something? I mean, he's going to have about a zillion and a half health, and I don't have silence (darn you deprecating proficiency!), but I did Invisible Pink Unicorn on Nintendo without any trouble. I think I burned one greater mana potion. Any advice on this would be great. I'd really prefer to do it on the hardest difficulty I can actually manage, rather than doing it on normal for fail loot bonus rolls to get the bonus, and going back to farm it later.
Oh, and I'm light armor (all shade except leather gloves), DW ethereal club + ethereal rapier.

Oh, and I should specify that I have 2 tokens right now, so it's also a matter of how long I'll be gathering said token(s) to do this.

if you not confident to take it at IWBTH , than just clear it at normal for credits bonus and trophy (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) just fight FSM in IWBTH after you clear them for the first time (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) just forget about other RoB ( after the first clear ) , fight FSM until you have reach TT&T (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) use silence & SoL + SS (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) This post has been edited by nobody_xxx: Aug 6 2013, 08:56

Well, my only real concern is how long it'll take to kill him. I mean, really... with weaken and my evade being somewhere around 45% (in practice according to HVstat), surviving isn't really a problem anymore. Especially with stun procs and sleep works as well in the meantime until I get silence while I work on the other monsters. I do plan on only farming FSM and/or TT&T after the initial clear bonuses, it was just a debate on which of the two to do first, since a noodle could (possibly) get me a nice item that I can use in future RoB and Arenas etc.
Is there a way to get a rough guess of how much health FSM has on IWBTH at level 200-ish?
