QUOTE(PK678353 @ Jul 16 2013, 13:38) To be fair to Joe, we are expecting to get all of the level/proficiency unlock data baked into the interface in 0.77, so he's not too keen on updating that list without knowing exactly when it unlocks, especially since we don't know the exact mechanics behind the unlocks. It could be pure prof, or prof + level, or pure level for some spells, or any of the above, we just don't know. It could well be that you get spell X at 70 deprecating, OR 50 Deprecating and level 150, OR level 200.
To be fair to you, he is being a bit. . . erm. . . overly terse about it.
Edit: To compound our lack of knowledge, we know Tenboro has made some tweaks behind the scenes, especially in the immediate aftermath of the patch. The only thing we know he's changed prof requirements on is curative/supportive stuff, but again, it makes it very difficult to confirm anything.
like heavy roll (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) I'm pretty sure when this patch hit , AGI still in heavy but after some weeks it gone (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

QUOTE(Solarhawk @ Jul 15 2013, 21:58) There's also no point when updated information
You're giving me incorrect data. Being overleveled gives you spells as far as we know so it doesn't matter what your proficiency is.

QUOTE(Malenk @ Jul 17 2013, 01:13) i have finally unlocked the Dovahkiin title. it took me more than 2 hours on BT so i don't see myself doing aDwD at high diff anytime soon.
how hard is IWBTH TT&T compared to BT aDwD? i mean, aDwD wasn't "hard" since it was a matter of completing it before running out of potions (i took more spirit than i usually do and focused until i reached the rounds with 3 schoolgirls).
TT&T is another thing since they hit a lot harder but in the end it usually is also a matter of completing it before running out of potions.
i don't want to attempt it and lose 10 tokens should i fail so i'd like a few opinions on what my chances are.
how many spirit pots should i take with me? should i go for elixirs? which deprecating spells are a must? i have maxed weaken, silence and sleep at the moment. (does the better blind prof also improve the blind from iris strike?)
I can't really give you great advice about how much pots to use... but I can tell you that deprecating spells aren't that useful here, but keeping absorb up is very useful. You should bring elixirs the first time and you can later gauge how many heroics you need, don't use focus. I generally use iris strike to blind, nothing else... I don't know if better blind enhances that effect. I just kill yggdrasil first, then FSM, then the unicorn and real life, then whatever else. Also use imperil on your enemies and enchant your weapons with voidseeker and holy and dark infusions. Oh yeah, IWTBH too. edit: you can bring some flower vases and bubble gum too. Normally I play with DW... but, lately I was having fun with a Two-Handed weapon and really liked the Domino effect... ...so, the obvious question: What is better DW or TH? (or maybe, what is better "in your opinion"? ...or maybe, what do you prefer?) thanks... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

In this context, dissipate_mit is MMI. Imperil certainly doesn't stop mobs from chain resisting. . . (does the better blind prof also improve the blind from iris strike?) (i know that Dovahkiin is useless, i'm just testing the skill a bit before reverting to godslayer) You can take down IWBTH TT&T. I did IWBTH TT&T before I cleared IWBTH T&T. If you've got Silence and Sleep maxed, you can use those (or Weaken + Absorb) to keep the fight on your terms. Since you're DW, you have more control over where the damage goes to avoid waking sleepers or killing Norns. Silence + Sleep or Weaken + Absorb are effective combinations to keep the incoming under control, especially with SS to catch anything they miss. Bring at least 4 SP pots. Go ahead and bring Elixirs. While you likely won't need them, Elixirs can be bought, unlike Blood Tokens. Don't expect to need all of them if you keep the mobs debuffed, since Light Armor has a lot of Resist which helps greatly with the massive Magical skill spam. Bring scrolls along, they help greatly if you feel that you're getting overwhelmed. For your own sanity, drop some infusions into your weapons before you start, probably 30-45 minutes worth to make sure they don't run out mid fight. To be honest, if you've got the 3x target deprecating spells, the thing most likely to kill you is losing focus. This is not an autopilot fight, not to start with, since half the field can OHKO with an SP special. Kill Yggdrasil, then the Dragons, then the Gods, then the Norns. Spend Channellings wisely (and remember that Channelling ignores the Dragon's resist). This post has been edited by PK678353: Jul 16 2013, 21:09

QUOTE(hujan86 @ Jul 16 2013, 22:30) Legendary Ethereal Shortsword of Balance How much is this worth? Is over 200k too much? That's a rather old shortsword, and from a time when Legendary was an easier mark to hit. That PXP would be Magnificent today. Most of the stats are decent but unimpressive (especially for Legendary), and that Parry is just plain bad.

Unable to cast a spell for a while against a mob is so damn annoying. Should I just switch to melee or what?

Not worth it, then.

stick with T1 spells and/or cycle thru a few spells... alternatively just switch over to melee. maging is pretty much fucked up right now...

I switched to melee after 5 minutes of post-patch mage testing, while having staff with over 100 forges and only superior melee equips. I must say, it is much more relaxing than even pre-patch mage. Especially when I hover. Though I hear that fully forged mag-legendary mage(that means 50 EDB on phase, all on staff) might be faster now due the very same throttling. Well, at least for that I'd require a ton more cash and higher level for triple imperil. This post has been edited by Lement: Jul 17 2013, 12:56

Should I jump into arena normal difficulty The Trio and the Tree - 100 rounds of mayhem with 494 monsters and The Trio and the Tree at the end. Equips and stats as follows 2 hand Head Body Hands Legs Feet I managed to last around 120 grindfest rounds on hard difficulty before dying to carelessness.

It's not like anything bad will happen if you die. If you made it through 120 rounds of Grindfest on Hard, then The Trio and the Tree on Normal shouldn't be a problem.

Thats what I thought too. Any advice on stats though?
