If the equip PXP is a factor, wouldn't a fully leveled up normal equip yield something?
If I salvage an equip with fine prefix, no matter the PXP, will it always yield a low grade material/nothing at all?
What would I have to salvage in order to get a high grade material?

PXP is an indicator of quality, not quality itself. Exquisite+ for HG, and it's a chance -low exquisites are somewhat rare for HGs while high legendaries have pretty good, but not guaranteed odds for high grade.

A fine can get a superior too I think though?

HG mats start at 315, but its a low chance; fine can get MG for the whole range I think, but in general better to bazaar I think.

IA is incredibly useful for melees. But it doesn't give you more cash directly, just lets you do longer/harder IWs and GFs or do arenas on a higher difficulty. I'd go for IA anyway, but Crystarium is good for getting more wealth.

Crystarium is by far the best as far as credits go. In fact by Crys 3 it's almost overpowered in that regard (well it does cost 1750 hath to get it though). Even with crys 1 I was able to raise the PL of my monsters very easily (more mats = more credits).

Crude IW tends to have weaker monsters. Difficulty depends on what you wish to raise.

For crys I just doing IWBTH arenas and IW you get 5 crystals per drop instead of 2. In IWBTH Grindfest it starts at 5 and goes up one every 50 rounds (at round 50 you get 6 per drop, at round 100 you get 7, 150 you get 8, etc.). Was the best 250 hath I ever spent, lol.

Lol, you can't just go buy Legendary Savage Shadowdancer even if you had the credits. I am not even sure anybody has dropped a Legendary Shadowdancer with Savage prefix yet. And usually people don't sell such pieces. But anyway price depends on the rolls but any Legendary SD piece is automatically in the millions of credits. I think HTTP will pay like up to 25 million for a perfect piece in his WTB, lol, and he can't even put together a full set. Exquisite is much more realistic. A good savage exquisite SD piece probably will cost up to a million, again it greatly depends on the rolls (damage/PABs/evade/PMI/crit are the ones that matter).
