What evasion % should I be building to (at my current level) for my (unequipped) armour sets?

Mine is currently at ~ 33% (mage - holy/dark) & 37% (shade - fleet)

Was there a new patch installed within several days? I'm finding it almost impossible to do more than 40rounds IWTBH as mage now, without any scrolls. Monsters are resisting everything. This game is getting more and more ridiculous.... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Not that we are aware of, unless TenB has secretly released / imbued the mobs with greater powers / resists!

Monster are hitting harder and my 42% evasion is worthless. I am triggering SoL every 3-5 turns now. I wonder if I am doing something wrong....

Same here, especially when I'm playing RE on IWTBH & the first few arenas on IWTBH/BT. On quite a few occasions, I get hit badly on the 1st punch, just after I cast SoL. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Just have to keep curing/SoL & hang in there. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

Which one is better ?

Clearing earlier challenge for quick arena bonus
or
Clearing later challenge for boss trophies

(Assume that stamina is in great condition)

Also does it necessary to do Item World ?

The clear bonus are independent of great stamina bonus. I would recommend you to use great stamina for the harder arenas (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I just came to realize that the mobs are resisting & evading more could be due to the high number of Chaos tokens being dropped. I'm picking up ~ 5-6 Chaos tokens for every Blood.

according to the wiki when you get a token drop you have 75% chance of chaos and 25% of blood.
and of course the monsters with high evade/parry/resist are highly upgraded with chaos tokens.

I wasn't aware of the token % drop. All the while, I thought it was like 50/50 chance.

And let's not forget the Random Number God, shall we? Tokens were NOT dropping for me for about a week. None.

Slowly, I get tokens coming back in. Today, FOUR bloody ToBs.

Mind you, I'm not complaining about it like Frith was. I want as many Tokens of whichever kind is possible.

Yea it's somewhere in that thread. Tenb only update the patch notes in recent patches.

hi, I was wondering, it it possible for we open a new tread that gives a guild to the beginners? I have seen so many beginers do not know the base of the equipment and some thing that is very important.
And also, I get another question to dicuss: Is the power of protection gears now become really useless or not? For my point of view, it is unless you invest millions on it to upgrade.

Power of protection has always been worse than plate of protection+power of slaughter.

Still, like all power power of protection has power interference and burden too.

Yes, it is. But the difference is not that large b4. A full power of protection is still enough to fight in areans and IW in X25 difficulty. Basically, a full of power of protection set can do what a power of slaughter+plate of protection set can do.
However, now the power of protection gears are for those whose level is too low to wear slaughter gears or those whose level, those who throw millions to upgrade the power of protection gears and those who's too fucking powerful to wear plates(at least LV400+).
