QUOTE(ki1ler7 @ Nov 9 2010, 06:47) So guys i tried a round in Ring of Blood but lasted 7 turns until I got overkilled should i try again or wait until i get spark of life?
Use scrolls of the gods or scrolls of life whenever the monsters SP bar is nearly full. The 4 bosses are relatively easy. The 4 legendary girls are significantly harder.

If you got killed in 7 turns i don't think spark or scrolls of life/gods are going to help you that much, and if you brought a lot, It'd cost too much to be worth it. What equipment were you using? This post has been edited by PsychoticSoul: Nov 9 2010, 16:58

QUOTE(Death Grunty @ Nov 9 2010, 04:11) I'm in need of some advice on abilities. I have saved up enough AP for the next tier (@level 150). It's 32 AP for getting everything (HP, MP, SP, OC, Dark Tier 1, Nerf, Regen2, Item Slots V). To be more precise I have 17 AP and I'm level 135, meaning I'll get 15 AP til I hit 150 = total 32 AP. So from now on I'll get leftover AP from artifacts and I want to start invest in Elemental ratings. (To improve defensive capabilities and prep for future maging.)
Which elemental ratings should I fill first (from a defensive standpoint)? Personally I'd go for dark first. But the first tier is available at 150 and I already reserved the AP to fill it. So what else?
(Oh yeah, I'm melee in case you don't know. Hence the defensive aspect.)

Electric would be my advice. Toddlerguro being the only non-boss spell that really hurts any to begin with. This post has been edited by Conquest101: Nov 9 2010, 17:00

What do you want to hear? I think that an artifact becomes the thing being written here. If you hope for the artifact, it is to buy it with the bazaar or WTS. Or, expect a providence of Snowflake.

Good point. It does hurt. 700+ on normal. Far more than any of the others. And after electric? (It will take a while to fill electric, but knowing now means I won't have to ask later.) Thank you.

Honestly, I don't know if anything stands out after that. The ratings don't make that much of a difference anyways, and none of the other other normal monster spells hurt much. Moo and meH are pretty weak. Dark you're going to cover so that takes care of Horrible Rape. I guess you could do.... soul? It'd help a bit if you ran into bosses and... I dunno, you could use the spells to raise proficency. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

My advice is to fill the exp tanks, leveling up defend better than a pitiful 15% mitigation from an occasionally attack.

Now that you mention exp bonuses. I barely touched adept learner... I could easily raise it by 50 level or more. And I'm missing 1 aura. That's another 7%.. Though at the moment it's not worth 100k.

I'm a brand new player, just starting to play today. I'm looking to build a Dual wield/light armor wearing rogue style of play. Is this not recommended? Anyways, here is my character info. For the equipment, they are all in the 30-40 range, except for the gauntlets which are 17. My general playstyle at the moment is to equip 3 lesser health pots and just attack, only rarely using my spirit attack on a grey/special npc. I pop the health pots when I am under 5-8 hp depending on what's still left to fight. Anyways, thanks for any help.

Balance out your stats a bit. Int can be left alone for now, but you need to even out the other 5, wisdom included. You're going to get cure at level 10, and you need MP. Drop the spirit tanks, they're worthless for you right now. Focus on Health/mana tanks, and get cure at the very least. Eventually you'll want weaken/poison if possible. As far as equipment goes. Leather is generally worthless. If you want to wear all light, you're going to need to buy some decent dragon hide or kevlar out of player shops eventually. Don't buy things out of the bazaar if you can possibly help it. You can get better equipment, cheaper out of the WTS threads. This post has been edited by Conquest101: Nov 10 2010, 10:35

So you would suggest going for heavy armor instead?

At your level, you could wear just about anything and still do ok, but generally speaking all heavy for cakefest (grindfest on cake difficulty) or a mix of heavy/silk is the way to go. It's not that you CAN'T wear light, but until you can afford/acquire some decent pieces, it's usually not worth it. Also, keep in mind, you'll eventually hit a point where things seem to get significantly harder all of a sudden (around levels 30-40). Lots of people have complained about it. You just need to shoulder past it. Things get easier the more you level up.
