Is there ever a time that's 'too late' to do proficiencies?
I haven't touched 2-handed weapons, heavy armor, or divine magic at all for these 60 or so levels. I don't want to be screwed too badly later down the line if I need to switch styles.

I'll take that as 'procrastinate.'

ok guys, my turn (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) --> I think you can absolutly ignore equipments. [ www.sdilej.eu] (IMG:[www.sdilej.eu] http://www.sdilej.eu/pics/8fac0ccde85049887d20c5e71649e226.JPG) [ www.sdilej.eu] (IMG:[www.sdilej.eu] http://www.sdilej.eu/pics/d21586d95e01b8688b5ae8065bba95d2.JPG) [ www.sdilej.eu] (IMG:[www.sdilej.eu] http://www.sdilej.eu/pics/aaa11e4699539198314625ef5ffb5f74.JPG) ----- So, my idea is simply - fight build without attack spells. Shield, Axe (or katana, cuz katanas are cool), abilities HP, MP tanks, auras, bonus slots, curative (heals), stats STR, DEX, END, AGI, WIS (no INT). But which armors should I have? Heavy, light? I really dont know. ________ 2nd. I was talking with Thanos008 and he said me "The two main areas you want to concentrate on, are Elemental and Curative; for that purpose, you MAY want to get yourself a decent Redwood Staff, which gives you bonuses to both Elemental and Curative, and wear mostly Elemental on your body, maybe have 1 or 2 pieces of armor that bolsters either your Supportive or Depreciative magic."________ What do you think? THANKS FOR HELP!

Ok I've been lurking for the past month, I'm at level 26, it seems that my MP cost for cure is going up a lot faster than the curative rate, is there a good way to correct this. I play as a 2handed melee fighter for the most part, although i use dual wield/light armor setup often also. is there a sure fire way to bring mp cost down (aside from those spells that have mp reductions already, I mean), or mp level up fast?
thanks for any help =)

There is no way to decrease MP costs of spells. If you want to be able to cast more spells: Invest in Wis and MP tanks. This post has been edited by Boggyb: Nov 8 2010, 21:40

stupid question, but there isn't much merit to trying to emphasize evade while maging right? Probably to get your attack so high that you pulverize everything with a tier 2 spell? Wondering if I should just get all elementalist with poor evasion instead.

but if you missed or failed to kill some of them on the first turn, that's when evade comes into play...

is this still valid? Health Points = (50 + LEVEL * 5 + STR + END * 4) * HP Tank Modifier
cuz if so then it aint working (atleast to me).
Stats: Lvl = 19 Str = 25+2 End = 20+4
according to the formula above i should get atleast 1500hp but ends up with only 316hp :S

50 + (19*5) + 27 + 96 = 268 +48 from 6 hp tanks (18%) is an accurate 316

I honestly never remember which stat boosts which numbers. http://ehwiki.org/wiki/Character_StatsQUOTE(SilentStrm @ Nov 9 2010, 17:50) is this still valid? I am currently using a melee build with balanced stats and i was wondering if it's too late for me to switch to a magic build? Because from what i read it kills monsters much faster.
str 50 dex 48 agi 47 end 45 int 32 wis 44

It is still enough. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) It is INT that it is short of as Mage. Even the degree that it is the same had better increase this parameter. The rearrangement of the ability may be necessary except for that.

I'm in need of some advice on abilities. I have saved up enough AP for the next tier (@level 150). It's 32 AP for getting everything (HP, MP, SP, OC, Dark Tier 1, Nerf, Regen2, Item Slots V). To be more precise I have 17 AP and I'm level 135, meaning I'll get 15 AP til I hit 150 = total 32 AP. So from now on I'll get leftover AP from artifacts and I want to start invest in Elemental ratings. (To improve defensive capabilities and prep for future maging.)
Which elemental ratings should I fill first (from a defensive standpoint)? Personally I'd go for dark first. But the first tier is available at 150 and I already reserved the AP to fill it. So what else?
(Oh yeah, I'm melee in case you don't know. Hence the defensive aspect.)
