I just PM'ed him about one of them (I can't remember which), so you could purchase the other. Or I could test the one I bought, decide it isn't better than this, then give it to you.

regarding that discussion you were having, if i have Fox armor and a Fox staff, would that make my magic more damaging than an Elementalist set of armor and a Focus staff?

It would depend on the specific pieces being used, but probably not.

Elementalist armor + Destruction/Elementalist staff

I was thinking of setting it to cake then going to grindfest with full cloth and a Fair Redwood Staff of Destruction

You can't get forbidden proficiency until level 100 at the earliest.

How exactly were you planning to raise your Forbidden proficiency without any Forbidden spells?

Unless you are planning on beating the Gods as a mage, you probably don't need it for a long, long time.

Wear heaven-sent gear while using a rapier to proc PA.
Hit with Holy spells while PA is up. (Obviously also using Poison)

so what kind of rapier should i get? a battlecaster rapier?

for 11 AP and what it costs to cast, I think its well worth it.

it takes less to max holy/dark/soul then the elemental tree. and if you want to melee you can use those saved AP for spirit/overcharge or exp. then when you have more AP you can always reset and put them into something else.

That would be the best but it's so rare to find anything good. Get a rapier with good chance and 3+ turns.

Me, proud melee maxed out all my HP, Magic and overcharge tanks.
All usefull support/healing spells are also maxed.

What now? Should I bother getting a spell or just max out all xxx-ratings ?
