The wiki say that it uses bonus proficiencies from Dual Wielding (which is true, I gain nothing in the corresponding stats while grinding my 2H prof). And since there's no bonus from the Domino Strike over 100 prof... That would make things easier (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) .

QUOTE(masskiss @ Feb 16 2013, 09:38) @Falbala456 & xcaliber9999 I see. So I'm not alone in this, glad to hear that haha. Alright will try it on BT and see how I fare, altho I think I still need to weaken each & every one of them (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) At least until I can get better armor set. Oh just adding something, I tried to use my light sets (a mix of shade & kevlar from scorpio) but, yeah I got hit less but once I got hit, it'd be around 2k (my hp is 3k lol). Really need to depend on heavy set I think. EDIT: Who would've thought, I tried again on IWBTH (stupid me (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)) and managed to get 7 goons, with an estoc of slaughter Colman lent me lol. Buuut, my victory depends heavily on the rate channeling pops up (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) That fight eats away all of my 7 mana pots btw. A question pops up again: I think it'd be great if I could use haste. Do you think it'd be a good idea, despite my mana leaking rate? I don't how how your stats look now, but you should definitely pump some END (should be at your level), it's gonna change your life. Also having some point in SP tanks helps for SoL, unlike XP tanks.

QUOTE(Tenboro @ May 28 2012, 02:41) It's more of a temporary stopgap than a permanent thing.
Temporary stopgap... now, where have I heard that phrase before... [ articles.philly.com] Oh, that's where! Forgive me for not holding my breath on this one. PS And worse; back then, it actually restored HP/MP! Given the number of buffs I cast during the 1st round of any battle series, that would have been very welcome indeed.

QUOTE(christianwah @ Feb 16 2013, 10:39) For light: SV>Haste>Protection Shadow Veil is mainly for Shade users—Kevlar users should focus on Protection. QUOTE(fishinsea @ Feb 16 2013, 11:07) If you have 0% evade, shadow veil will increase your evade to 20%; if you have 50% evade, sv will increase it to 60%, so it's useful for both classes. Is the formula on the Wiki? I had to hunt down one of my old posts to dig it up again. This post has been edited by aurabolt: Feb 17 2013, 07:04

What if the user uses a combination of shades & kevlars? Cast both SV & Protection? Is this monster considered retarded or not? initially, I thought this is FSM.

QUOTE(hujan86 @ Feb 16 2013, 22:25) What if the user uses a combination of shades & kevlars? Cast both SV & Protection? If you're doing what Scorpio's doing, prioritize Protection over Shadow Veil. The reason he mixes a Shade piece with his Kevlar set is not to balance mitigation and avoidance, but to gain some attack damage bonus, which you can't get if you're fully donned in Kevlar. (And remember that Kevlar pieces have burden, which counteracts evasion.)

Not explicitly I think but it can more-or-less be infered from the character stats page.

No, the reason he uses shade is because his shade piece has the PMI of a kevlar piece (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Has the drop rate for Shards increased? Lately it seems that they've been dropping like flies.
And I've noticed significantly lower Burden and Interference on Fine equips as well.

I have a few questions. First, is the equipment shop populated purely by items people sell? It seems like there's rarely good stuff there. Second, is it worth it to do item world at my level (62)? And lastly, (IMG:[ img560.imageshack.us] http://img560.imageshack.us/img560/1089/ss20130217at065441.png) Are my stats okay? It seems like I can get destroyed pretty easily and don't have the mp to keep protection up. This post has been edited by aaaaa12311: Feb 17 2013, 14:07

It seems like I can get destroyed pretty easily and don't have the mp to keep protection up. 1st the Bazaar have mostly the average stuffs ranging from crude to superior equipments.Yes the players dump their equips there when they don't need it. I only saw 2-3 exquisite equipments till now 2nd if you have a good piece of equipment than its worth to do item world I guess otherwise no. I myself haven't done anything yet in item world lastly I know int and wis should have a low priority for melee users but come on this is ridiculous to not spend any point. Do yourself a favour and spend some points on them especially (INT). Raise your Mp tank by spending more ability points if you are running out of mp. Also use that Aura point quickly since it will give you additional EXP and bonuses. You are right about one thing you will get destroyed pretty easily if you keep following your current stat. If you feel ok with a low speed and a low mana pool, then yes. Otherwise, raise your AGI and your WIS (and your DEX of course but that's up to you here).

Try to keep wis, dex & agi no less than 80-85% the cost of str/end.

when you are equipped with a staff and cast a spell, there is a chance that the target will have 'coalesced mana' debuff, which will increase your MAttack against it. If you'd rather to replenish your mana, hit it physically, there is a chance that it will proc a ether tap on you, restoring you some mana
Hope it helps

Eh, channeling is the dmg boost. Coalensced mana reduces the spell cost by 50%.
