Having not seen gear "retired" before; what does that mean? Will those gear disappear, or be changed, or something else entirely?

Hi guys, I was hoping for some advice as to which build I should use from here on. My equipment is horrible right now, but I think I have enough to start investing into some real equipment. I want to avoid wasting my credits on the wrong stuff, so I hope you guys are alright with helping me out on picking my path. I noticed that the more experienced players are leaning towards Mage builds, and I'd be perfectly fine with switching to Mage if that is the case.

Does raising Quartermaster and Archaeologist decrease the chance for token drop?

Hi guys, I was hoping for some advice as to which build I should use from here on. My equipment is horrible right now, but I think I have enough to start investing into some real equipment. Well, we just got patched so we'll see how everything shakes out as far as builds go. That said, at your level the most important thing is to pick a build and stick with it, you don't have the resources to spread yourself thin. If you want to stay melee, put more points into STR and END, and keep INT's XP cost at about 1/4th of WIS's. As for equipment, hit up WTS and find the free shops, they'll give better equips than the bazaar for cheap. You can PM me about gear later, I've got some spare pieces of Plate, Kevlar and Shade around in you want to go any of those paths (that's assuming someone else doesn't just dump a full set on you and make the choice for you).

If you go Plate, you want Protection pieces, if you go Kevlar, you also want Protection. Shade wants Fleet or Shadowdancer (in practice, Fleet as Shadowdancer is damn rare and good SD is insanely expensive). Weapon wise, that Longsword, despite being Balance is fine for now, as getting Accuracy above 100% is more important than a few more damage. Once you have some DEX or armor that gives accuracy, you can grab a Slaughter weapon.

Fenrir probably is due to T4. Though you won't get very far, since resist will be even more costly for you than for holies.

I prefer holy though. More perks. You can always forge your way to firepower.
