QUOTE(CrimsonAxel @ Jan 15 2013, 21:06) Can somebody give me an advice on getting more credits. I barely have enough to spend for my training now (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Do all of your arenas every day and sell your loot to the bazaar. Things like artifacts can be sold to other players through the forum. Your earning power will increase as you level up, as you will gain access to longer arenas, have higher loot trainings, and be able to play on higher difficulties. You can also earn income by contributing to the site: H@H, Adopt-a-Server, donating to the site, and uploading good galleries, for example.

I tried getting H@H a few months ago...but I could never get it running and he never responded to any PM's I sent asking for help, since no other pages existed to get it set up and working...

Hi guys After the advice I got last time, I went away and did some prof grinding, my supportive/curative/deprecating are now at a respectable level: (IMG:[ i.imgur.com] http://i.imgur.com/c2GFl.png) I noticed that regen2 heals a lot more and lasts way longer than regen1, definitely noticed the difference. However, I still need the ticks from the health pots to maintain my hp per round. If I only have protection and regen2 going, my hp goes down by 5-10% per round which really hurts my mana spamming cure. I noticed people mentioning a high PMI (~70%). I was wondering if I should switch from power gear to plate gear to try and reach that number, what's a respectable PMI and base damage for my level? Thanks.

Checking the 2 pages of replies again (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) QUOTE(Rei-Tenshi @ Jan 16 2013, 06:25) Hmm, I remember a discussion about LotD awhile back which mentions that part. Well, I'm probably wrong then, but my personal experience with arena clears led me to believe that was true.
It's difficult to tell, especially when it's about the arena clear bonus. Somehow my guess is that the arena/ROB clear bonus is based on a fixed loot drop bonus but not affected by LotD, while the other drops in the last round is based on a LotD bonus but not the fixed bonus. This makes more sense for the FSM drop pattern, but I don't have any solid way to distinguish those two ways of calculation, unfortunately. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) QUOTE(aeridus @ Jan 16 2013, 05:52) What's the best light melee gear for the last 5 IWBTH arenas? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) My current gear in my signature is up-to-date. I have all the fun abilities and am working on the elemental defense abilities; halfway done with those. Base Intelligence is 341 (keeping that even with my level now) and the rest of my base stats are around 373. The current trend is to use fleet/shadowdancer. Ask T_Starrk for further details. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) QUOTE(entmote @ Jan 16 2013, 11:24) is the quality of your gear more or less important than make ie all warding
Somehow legendary plate of non-protection suffix may give the same protection vs ex plate of protection. So it's always a balance between quality and suffix. QUOTE(Zetsulol @ Jan 16 2013, 12:59) @ Slobber I see. That page is very detailed, so at first I thought Tenboro had released the data on ranges at some point. Do the values change after every patch ? I never noticed anything about them in the patch notes.
No he don't. And we're still second-guessing how everything about quality is done (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif) This post has been edited by varst: Jan 16 2013, 11:19

Are elemental resist skills worth investing in? (i.e. the 2% elemental resist increase per ability point)
I'm a melee character, and when I'm not training up two-handed or dual wield, I use mostly a Niten set up to clear monsters. After a re-spec, I have 37 extra ability points. I've already invested in all of the Supportive/Deprecating/Curative spells that I normally use.
I know that just accessing the elemental resists in a certain row takes 6 ability points, and then another 5 ability points to max out the +2% resists per ability point in that row. Would my ability points be better spent just investing in Magic Tank?

The resists are very much a "I've filled everything else, so may as well" option right now. But I would grab everything but the last remaining attack spells before investing in resistances. MP Tank is basically an extra Pack Rat slot or two.

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Yeah, that's my belief right now on the LotD+ArenaRewards thing. Seriously, I just got an Average drop from the reward right now, and a Magnificent from a monster underneath it. Somebody should pester Tenboro about answering these stuff lol.

I could try when I notice him on IRC next time. But then he had said he won't answer those questions which requires him to look at the code (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

I have a question about staffs.
Which kind is worth something? And which suffix is good for that kind?
Ebony? Elemental? Destruction? (Fire/Cold/Elec/Wind)? Katalox? Oak? Redwood? Willow?
I'm about to clear my inventory. So I'm asking which staffs would be worth keeping. Or to be bazaared or salvaged for materials.

Mag/Leg grade often worth something (salvage or bazaar or sale), so it's better to check the exact stats. Superior or lower usually worth nothing, unless it's rare katalox of destruction with exceptional MDB. Just sell them to bazaar. So it's actually the exquisite grade stuffs that worth a look: For oak it's heimdall, for willow/redwood it's destruction. Note that they're very common among staffs, so it should also have exceptional stats, preferably also with holy/dark prefix. For katalox/ebony, the only thing that doesn't work currently is focus. Others can be good depending on the EDB/MDB/prof. Staffs with matching elemental/holy/dark prefix are also worthy.

So you mean that every staff below exquisite should be bazaared or salvaged? That would surely clear my staff inventory up (~120) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) It's not easy for me to pick the good ones since I have never really tried the mage style. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I tend to keep the best staff of every suffix in case I really need that. For example, among the staffs in your shop, I will only keep these: STE 07 STO 14 And donate some of those with better suffixes/stats to free shops. Some may open a shop to squeeze every penny possible from the equips, but I surely don't have the time to do so. For all the work to check them, post those staffs on the forum, wait for a few months till it sells, get something like 3-5k back...just doesn't worth it! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Not to mention I can simply get that 3k back from the 'sell all' button and play 20-30 minutes for 20k cash and maybe some better drops! Yeah. I will get rid of most of the staffs. I only have sup and sup+ staffs in my inverntory so I guess that some off them should be useful.
About the EDB/MDB. Should a good staff have good stats in both of them?

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) This is true. That's why I've pretty much given up on selling lower-end equips in a shop. It's just not worth it, lol. I just bazaar that shit now.
