Haste is more effective than Slow. It costs more, but lasts a lot longer (whoever's turns you count it in). Also, Haste can't fail or be resisted.

(Note: At very high levels this will cease to be true, since the effect of Haste decreases as your action speed approaches the cap at 200. Most players are nowhere near that point, though.)

Whatever had the best overall protection stats (so Warding/Protection/Stone-Skinned).

In my experience, they tend to have better defenses and bonuses than the other mit gear.

My best heavy pieces include one of Deflection and one of Dampening. No Stone-Skinned.

All 3 of my heavy pieces are "of Protection".

That could work. One of my sword chucks is comparable to my axe in damage.

I just saw one with same bleed chance, a higher bleed damage, 3 turn, similar crit/damage, 9 strength, fine/superior diamond sword chucks of the ox in the bazaar for 11k. Went to sell some items, returned, and it was gone. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

When I hit 170 I'm going to put points back into some elemental skills. What tree would you recommend to go with a soul/holy/dark setup?

I haven't used the elemental spells for a long time so my proficiency is only 47% I"d like to get to +150%. If I find I can kill faster with that I may go all elemental for a while but if not I may go back to a melee build for a while. I would like to see what 250-300% overcharge is like.

So would it be best to max 1 element (all 3 tiers maybe lightning) or max 2-3 different tier 3 elements? With my elemental gear i'll have +116% (still need gloves) so that should help.

The minimum for maging is to have all tiers of fire/elec maxed, 1st or 2nd tier of holy, 2nd or 3rd tier of cold, 2nd or 3rd of wind (for Konata)

Don't worry about elemental proficiency, in 5-6 levels is gonna be at your level, it's really fast to cap.

question

i have only cloth/light armor parts focused most on evading, but i eventually get hit, run out of mana and die so i want to switch to a full heavy set, but since i have no credits to waste i can't afford a wrong choice, so what are the most important parameters to check while buying heavy armor?

as weapons i have a rapier with 25% chance of penetrate armor in main and another rapier off (don't remember why, maybe just because it was dropped), in my inventory i got also an estoc with 21% of penetrate but i almost never use it and i keep it for item world runs (lvl 127) am i doing something wrong?

Yes you should post the links of equipment, and your image is so small I can't see anything.

I'm repeating myself again, but in cake/easy full plate for max absorption. 1HS will make you go farther, but it's the slowest comparatively with 2W/2H.
Normal-> at lower levels 4 pieces of evade silk + 1 heavy body plate, +100 levels -> full silk, kevlar only if it's very good.
Weapons-> depend of what propose you what, try yourself different weapons, but in general people use a rapier in main-hand, high parry dagger/high damage axe for off-hand, longsword/katana for 2H.

At lower levels like yours were light is still effective, and if you're gonna use it, think light like heavy gear and look for better absorption. (Unless you find a good kevlar jewel)

Duh, I did that. But I sorta resolved the problem, and now I can see,
Now if you don't have a good credits supply, I would suggest you in the future to train adept trainer instead of ability boost for filling these exp tanks, do it later +3% exp cost more than 1 AP.
That said remove the AP spent in SP tanks and master weaken.

Gear, you can keep this until you find better.
The rest is a total crap, no wonder you're having problems, I even sell better crap to bazzar (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
Look at WTS threads you'll find better gear like here per example.
Forget estocs for a long long time, stick with longswords/katanas, +damage, and + bleeding that's what you should looking for.

Yes, there are better ones in the player's shops.
I don't why people buy mediocre stuff in bazzar at full prices nowadays, when they can save credits by buying from other players.
