I did tests to compare the experience gain in Arenas and IW (PFUDOR, Stamina < 80).

The numbers themselves are not important (even because each has a different gain), but the simple comparison between them does. From the above, only IWs up to 55 rounds are more advantageous in terms of gain experience.

The only advantage I see of the IW on the Arenas (of the same number of rounds) is that, as the amount of monsters in the IW is higher, statistically speaking the probability of drops in general is higher. Since I do not use scripts, I can not know the exact numbers to make this comparison in the drops. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) In addition to the credits, which are markedly lower in IW, I did not see much difference in the gains from the sale of equipment to the bazaar. So the only advantage it would be for the account of other items (crystals, restoratives, infusions, scrolls, and perhaps tokens and artifacts).

The IW can be a good alternative for anyone who is not a mage, and also for those who do not want to spend hours in a row in a grindfest.

Can status effects on monsters amplify the damage done by weapons with elemental damage or does the extra damage only count for spells? Thanks in advance.

There aren't any elemental damage types I'm weak against so my spike shield isn't much use at all defensively but I figured it might be slightly better offensively even if the difference is significant. I'm thinking of using the frost spike shield's effect on enemies might give my tempestuous weapon a little more firepower.

For defense it is not real of any use. But ether you use the spike that fits to the element of your attack, or you use fire.

Not to sound condescending or anything but I'm not sure how this game works and if what I'm trying out is actually affecting the gameplay. I have played games where I had to do some weird rituals for efficiency's sake and I later learned it was a waste of time because it wasn't affecting the gameplay at all. That's why I'm asking the experts.

As an example, in Left 4 Dead I used to turn off my flashlights if a witch is around but it turns out they don't care at all and they're more likely to gib you if you're standing next to her rather than shining her face from across the room nam sayin

It does. I even updated the wiki not so long ago to mention that elemental procs do amplify the power of matching elemental strikes, after going through an appropriate experience to check it.

Why won't my monsters bring me gifts? I feed them all the time, morale is at 100% as well. first one is lvl 300 and is stuck at Battles Won:20 :Killing Blows: 1 for ages, 2nd monster is at 11 battles and 3 ratio at 201lvl, 3rd one is at lvl148 with no battles whatsoever. From the top they have 110%, 113%, and 105% gift factor; I added a bit to other stats aswell, but I don't think it's worth mentioning. I've been upgrading them with crystals whenever I had some. What am I doing wrong? It's said that they have 25% chance of bringing a gift, so with that I should get something every 4th time I reload monster lab, let's say each 20 mins? I don't know. Please give me some pro tips on how to make my squad bring me stuff.
