Percentile Ranges uses minimum and maximum rolls of Legendary equipment to work with.
If legendary shield may have block somewhere between of 1000 and 2300 points (don't mind the numbers, get an idea) and you exquisite shield has 569 - then Percentile Ranges will show negative stats for you.
It is not a bug =)

System takes time to upgrade status of IA for you. Usually somewhere in between 10 and 30 minutes. If after this time you still not see IA, then - change sets/personas - if will force the server to update your hat perk statuses.

From the wiki:

Restores a moderate amount of Health on the target.

Base health restored = base_health * (AP / 100) * MIN (1.5, MAX ((0.8 + supportive_proficiency / player_level * 0.2), (1 + (supportive_proficiency - player_level) / player_level * 0.5)))


So INT never enters into calculation.

like to ask if somebody can figure out why it looks like that monster have SoL buff on them?
also it seems that they need another hit to be killed, befor i never noticed such behavior.
it repeats happening either with scripts on or off.

can only tell as melee, any mage seeing such?

I am not a mage, but as melee I never seen anything like this.
Maybe just a weird coincidence, like they both had only 15 HP left and their HP bar just too small to see? %)

No, INT affects only DAMAGE of the spells, i.e. every offensive spell, not curatives or debuffs.

If you want to increase the power of Cure or duration of the Buffs - you should increase your Supportive proficiency (just spam lots of cure, regens and other good spells). =)

I've actually experienced this as well, but that was quite a long time ago. No idea what caused it.

Nope, it's not an issue of low HP.

Back when I had this issue, I was using the "show monster HP in numbers" script and whenever it happened, their health would be 0.

From what I remember, I had the problem for about a week and then it went away. No clue what fixed it or what caused it.

Hmmm. He is using it as well, as you can at screenshot.
I kinda feel the pattern here, but have no idea WHY that may happen.

Those "zero-health" monsters might attack you? If you finish the battle with them only left in pane - will the round end or you have to attack them one more time?

It was months ago, but I remember I still had to attack those 0 health monsters to progress to next round.

I haven't had that issue since then, so I can't replicate it.

This is the motivation for people to continue buying better gear and more hath perks (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

It's not rounding errors you just don't have enough damage. This happens often when a mage is reaching max efficiency.

Just wait, nothing more. Don't listen to the hath/GP exhange bullshit, it does nothing I already tried with several perks already. Some people believe it did work because coïncidentally the perk became taken into account while they were messing around with these features.

The percentages shown are a comparison with the Legendary range, even if the equipment is not Legendary. So for everything below Legendary quality it's almost guaranteed to be a negative percentage. I know it's a somehow stupid way of working, but that's how it works.

Focus on Dexterity and Endurance first. You need to increase your survivability as much as possible. Upgrade the Strength a bit behind those two when it's clearly cheaper. Keep intelligence very low, Wisdom a bit less low, because all intelligence does is increasing your pool of mana+spirit, wisdom mana+spirit+MMitigation

It is not stupid - just coding-in the huge database of every stats for every quality is nonsense. And even bigger nonsense is constant updating of this database.
Instead, Superlatanium decided to code-in only important stats and only for legendary quality - it makes job easier.

Days ago Jenga and Superlatanium decided to organised server-based equipment range. In short - Percentile Ranges will send request to Jenga's server with name of the equipment, server will parse the name, get ranges for every stat and their percentage and then send them back to the script and player.

With that setup Percentile Ranges will show actual data for every stat for every quality, and the main advantage - no more hardcoding - all stats would be stored and updated Jenga's server-side.

Realisation of this idea would take time, so stay tuned.

Cheap-ass excuse, sorry. That's not nonsense, that's accuracy. And I know someone around here who would tell you that there is no valid excuse not to get as much data as possible in order to be accurate.

A database couldn't care less if it had to keep track of dozens of millions of recordings instead of a few hundreds. They've been designed to handle that.

I'll tell you what doesn't make any sense: comparing Exquisites or below with Legendaries. Comparing Mags with Legs can make a lit a bit of sense, but still not as much as comparing Mags with other Mags.

So of course I'm expecting equipment stats to be analyzed and to feed a database every time we pop up a window. And I'm also expecting percentile ranges to mean something, instead of the "-110%" bullshit that's not even useful to wipe one's ass. I'm not even considering the annoying popup that comes every time an Exq- lacks a given PAB.

which is what jenga's db does. and for your knowledge, skillchip does extract infos from that database and publish them on wiki every now and then - possibly more often when ranges change a lot, i guess.
the new equip comparison should do something similar, per every user call. with such a tool, updates to the script will regard only the algorithm and not the hardcoded database - which maintenance actually ranges from too much of a hassle to completely pointless, since we have so many coders, they cooperate with each other and so on.
guess it would need a bit of time to be implehemented though.

that's due to the Legendary-centric way of thinking. i'd also prefer to add infos about stats in their own quality tier. let's see what will show up with the new system.

depending how the script calculates the number, "0" may actually mean "very little". my script multiplies the relative size of the remaining health bar with the monster's max hp, so if hp are low enough for the bar to have 0 width, the value is shown as "0"
