I am amazed Cryosite can clear End of Days in half an hour. It takes me two hours. What difficulty do you play on and what is your turns/second? (My turns/second is officially 0.5 ~ 0.7 now that I have Monsterbation script to check. It makes no difference for me whether Monsterbation is on or off, so I turned it off for now until I reach a much higher level).
The way defensive stats, like block, scale is weird. It starts at a base value and barely changes at all until you become very high level, then it changes a little bit. You can't linearly extrapolate what you see on the high level shields to what we'd get. You need to apply the exact formula curve (which isn't that complicated). It would still be nice if we could preview the soulfused stats of our gear before we actually soulfuse it. Maybe someone can ask for this feature in the appropriate thread.

On IWBTH. Still haven't tried PFUDOR yet. 1.59 in that screenshot, though I've pushed over 2.5. That was using my "old" setup described above.
EDIT: [url=https://i.imgur.com/tM43EkV.png]Today's run of EoD, using new set. It felt like I had to recover from Spark half again to maybe twice as many times as I usually have to in a run, but I was well-caffeinated and managed to react promptly when it happened. It did feel like I was having to burn a few more potions as a result too. But, reduced clear time is hard to argue with. A portion of that is due to the increased t/s though. So, more testing needed.
What really, really slows me down is the frequency of actions I need to take other than clicking normal attacks in a run. How often I have to react to the need to use a potion, refresh a buff, or cure. I use hotkeys for all of that, but they are noticeably slower than just beating things up.
My style of 1h is to run with high defense and regen. I keep protection and spark on IA (still debating getting IA III for spirit shield). If I could put regen on IA, I'd do it in a heartbeat. I keep Spirit stance running constantly once I have two pips of OC. I cast Heartseeker if I get channeling off of regen, cure, or as a powerup gem. I keep an eye on my mp and spirit bars, and pop a draught when they're low enough to efficiently use those. Most of my combat involves picking out the higher PL monsters and hovering over then until they're dead, then sweeping through the rest.
A few situations I vary from that:
When I hit a round of 7+ monsters, I'll use OFC, though that often involves a "recovery" period after where I spend a little time out of spirit stance to get back to full pips faster so that OFC can be used again once it comes off of cooldown (staying in spirit stance for 50 rounds usually doesn't refill enough OC to fire right away).
In "short" content like a random encounter, I'll pop imperil and firey blast once each in order to get some prof. Occasionally I'll do that at the end of a long run as well.
Against schoolgirls, I'll hover over them and let the regular monsters die to counter attacks. For this situation, I imagine I'll see a little bit of speed gain from increased DPS. This is where most of my testing will take place with the higher DPS setup.
