If you want to help others, the HV section has several shops that give out charity to new players. This helps new visitors to get involved in this site. You don't have to run that yourself if you donate to the right trustworthy player.

Bounties are very good as well. You don't have to start them yourself, just support the bounties you like.

You can use all your hath, credit, and gp to purchase gold stars from another player. It works like a trade: you send them credits, they send you bitcoins, which you can use to buy a gold star or perform Adopt-a-Server.

What good are those you ask? Well first of all they count as donations to this website, so you perform a double dose of your civic duty (first time by running H@H, second time by converting your hath back into real money which is then donated back to the site). And after years the gold stars' power will earn back all those hath and credits (but only if you login to Hentaiverse every day).

You will also get certain site and forum perks that only come with the power of gold stars or catgirl (10+ gold stars).

As for Adopt-a-Server, I haven't done it myself so I don't know exactly what benefits that could yield. In general you will lose hath if you trade them to another player for bitcoins, then spend those bitcoins on Adopt-a-Server to get back hath. And that is how it should be.

But performing such a cycle could be interesting; perhaps a few members actually do this. You would effectively be flushing your hath down the toilet (very slowly) but all of it would be going to a good cause (looped donations to this site) and you will gain Toplist position to possibly get special Toplist rewards (which ultimately are like alternative types of gold stars). I don't know the full details.

Adopt-a-Server is a waste of real money unless you're a Hath baron and want to join H@H indirectly (or a toplist addict, which is very dangerous), but still much, much better than most Hath Perks which are just Hath sinks unless you're endgame ready (level 500) with epic gear regardless of HV patch (and most likely a Hath baron so 50k Hath is peanuts to you).

tl;dr: Bounties are the main drive for Hath and Credits; for gallery points (GP), it's mostly lottery tickets (HV) or archive downloads (users without free archives, redownloading older stuff and/or being excessively horny).

EDIT: Forgot to mention if you're not interested in namechanges (which are public and available in both quotes and forum history), then AAS may be more desirable than any donation above $99 (or if you're also allergic to stars, any donation). $100+ will get you stuck with a special snowflake title. Then again it might just be replaced with another special snowflake title even without donating. :rolleyes:
