I had a huge plan to upload 120+ books at the end of March. Well, that may actually postpone further longer, because guess who accidentally formatted the drive that had all those scans and recent works wiped out?
(takes gun and aims point blank at myself)

Well, there might be some good news...

I'm using Easeus Data Recovery so I may recover at least the 80 or so that I was working on before this incident and save them to the formatted drive (or wait until Newegg ships out my 2 new hdds that I just purchased).

The bad

Every one of the folders has the first 14 images took out and placed in one sub-directory, so I have to organize A LOT of shit to the right folder.

Ugh, I know. I went through that once and had like 15 copies of every file I had to sift through, especially when the damn thing decides to mess up. This is why I made a point to get a separate HDD for this stuff. Just.... Ugh, too many things to mess up.

Ouch. Sorry to hear about that.

Hopes it works out, as in, works out as a not total disaster.

Okay, so apprently, I DON'T have to re-organize after all. All my recent work for this month (and most of 2018-2019) are full intact after all! I guess using that EaseUS software took so long deep scanning and then even longer organizing after it's finished scanning, but I'm glad!

I can resume scanning the rest!


Now, just waiting on recovering all the anime I have on a ext hdd that I just had for 15 months to be transferred to another drive...

Not sure from your OP if you are still ordering from suruga-ya currently. Also you want we should just start emailing you directly from this point on?

P.S.- I know the pain of having a bank/credit union being weird about foreign purchases. Mine finally seems to have learned that FC2 is not something I need to have fraud prevention call me everytime I purchase points...

Man, if I thought scanning 125 doujins was hard, cleaning them is even harder.

And I haven't even mentioned finding kanji and romanticized names for them.

Well at least I have the advanced notice this time ^^. Whenever one of you main scanners uploads a block of RAWs out of the blue it throws off my normal daily browsing.

Wish you guys would parse stuff out in smaller parcels so it's easier to absorb it over time. :P

True but I wish the old system for determining how galleries showed as "new" by using cookies was in place (I don't care about the visuals as the bolded timestamp works fine) as it is the one last thing from the current update pissing me off. Sadly as TB stated, "The timestamps used for last visit displays are now stored with your session rather than in a cookie" so after an hour the system fucking resets and you lose your old place (aka the bold timestamps only show the previous hour as new since you started browsing again...) regardless of how active you are on the search pages. Thankfully I speed checked everything else before drilling through Tsukuyomi's uploads.

Jokes on you I only fap to ENG galleries! I did bookmark a lot of possible commissions for translation so thanks for them and to the people that commissioned their scanning.
