To anyone that did Melonbook commissions and is probably thinking wtf is taking so long, here's why:

So basically it means it didnt even leave the Melon yet. I'd thought by holding for few weeks after the event, it would avoid the worst crowding.
Now it looks like its gonna be another month before we might get the books. Or half of them gonna sell out before they process the order in queue at all.

Meanwhile, places like Suruga-ya and Toranoana have no problem shipping out stuff...

Dunno how this helps since every Japanese warehouse uses this to ship out overseas.

It has shorter processing time for domestic shipping, even after big events it will only take 2 or 3 days for the order to be shipped

Updated news on current commissions' status.

Taking commissions now that both comic 1*16 and the latest reitaisai is out. Deadline is Sunday night for when I order! Doesn't seem to have a lot though, I guess maybe because C96 took out a lot of the authors or something.

Holy shit. I thought they were being funny because of C96, but that’s just crap. Even Suru doesn’t drag their ass that long.

Consider the fact that a majority of Japanese move from toranoana to melonbook since (ehem) toranoana's loyalty point bonus system is nowhere as good as how it was, I would say melonbook's orders having longer processing days is pretty reasonable, with the recent typhoon and all. (How dare you broke my new windows, hagibis)
