Interesting update.

New more useful Cure III and not having to lose 20k credits because 3 mid-bosses decide to smash me at the same time? Good.

Not being able to replay arenas when said mid-bosses randomly smash me, and clear bonus for a 150 round challenge becoming 55k credits? Bad. 55k down from 250k, and I hadn't even gotten to it yet. What do you think I was still trying to level past 200 for? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

I know that this probably isn't the place to ask this, but what is that Golden @ symbol that some players now have I can't find it anywhere on the wiki and when I click on it all that it says is that it is an invalid award,so what is it??

it means you have a higher chance of loot at the higher levels. however the other updates also means the higher levels are harder.

You get a loot quality bonus for round number. Before it stopped at 50, now it goes up to 100.
Thus, loot at round 100 will be better than loot at rounds under 100.

Are you sure about that? It says "quality" bonus, not "quantity" bonus.

Does it perhaps mean that you have a better chance of better loot at higher levels, and if so, does that mean you have to grind longer that before to get better items, or does it continue to raise at the same rate and just keep getting better and better?

My healing spell casts faster, costs less and can be upgraded eventually.

A new token is in play and one of either can drop along with an Arena drop.

Is there anything I can complain about? I don't think so.

Correct, its quality, not quantity. The new maximum at 100 rounds is higher than the old 50 round maximum. It goes up in quality slightly less per round I think, but given the enemies are now weaker to begin with that seems fair. And hell, a higher quality bonus max is a higher quality bonus max. I'd say it is quite nice overall.

It used to go up 10 per round. Now it goes up 8. Not that much of a difference.

I've got a question about the drop quality cap being changed from 50 to 100 rounds. First, I assume that you were normalizing your equation to make the quality bonus at round 1 be the lowest and round 50 the highest. Is the current 100 round cap normalized in the same way, or is it effectively doubled from before?

In other words, is the quality bonus currently at round 100 the same as the quality bonus at round 50 from before? That was my assumption, but I think your wording may have fooled a lot of people into thinking the quality bonus is doubled from round 50 to 100 when it is really just discretized across a larger range.

500 I believe.

Whatever it was, Tenb did say it increased, so it is more now at 100 than it was at the previous cap. Based on my drops, if I had to guess I would say you hit the old cap somewhere near round 60.

Here's a small question, how hard would it be to set up the barrier and shield ratings to match equipment absorbtion/mitigation? Asking this cause as it is barrier and shield are just arbitrary numbers that are in some unknown (to us) way related to attack and magic rating, as a difference of, say, 0 between attack and shield, for example, doesn't translate to us taking 0 damage, and we'll usually take more damage than at a lower level with the same difference between the two stats.
