They shouldn't be, but the tiers were adjusted somewhat when the top tier was removed.

The "special" drop tree has the elixirs as well as the other rare consumable drops (like the Flower Vase).

That's not quite true, it only applied to the percentage stats. But considering that the effect already is fairly small, I've already decided to have aura bonuses apply the same as an active buff, after the equipment stats have been calculated.

Thank you very much. I've been grinding all day, but my only godlies have been arena clear bonuses (yay for the godlies, boo for it being clear bonuses lol).

You know, if you made soul element infusions that might actually make them usable for the rest of us, though admittedly only for certain types of battles (and I don't know if soul rating affects soul-based weapons, not that it matters, I don't have one (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)).

Well, in the cakefest I was doing earlier not only did I get godlies but I also got a mana and health elixir, and that's with only 2 Luck of the Draws...That was slightly before I made the post here.

I have 6 luck of the draw (not much better, we're talking single percentage points of quality bonus increase), but I definitely did not find a single godly mana draught, and I got far past round 50 each time I grinded (which is where the round quality bonus caps).

I only did up to round 64 once and got around 3-4 godlies, so it's not that it's impossible so much as very unlikely. That said I think I picked up another Token of Blood somewhere cause I'm at 5 now (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif) And I'm still wondering when I got that infusion of gaia ><

Now if only I was lucky with artifacts...that would make my day, but for now, I'm in montage cause I'm goin to bed.

So it is not multiplicative with matching mitigation? Pretty cool (but not for much long now, I guess...) Or just counts first?
Then again, as I see, you won't have any more than 29% rating from normal means (and that would mean you spent 10 ability points (22 if counting spells necessary to unlock the rating ability) and 6 aura points (or how much it would cost to have two level3 auras?) not to mention loads and loads of c just for one element) and even the 50% boost won't make rating go past 45. So no more than 43.5% more damage from spell and 43.5% less damage taken from that element. And if it goes multiplicative with mitigations from equip, even (much) less. Not hot, definitely.

Or did I miss some other means to increase the rating?

I've got 10 luck of the draw and definitely feel like I'm getting less godlies then I was before.

The only elixir I've noticed I've been getting is spirit cause I usually don't have any since I sell them, haven't gotten any other special items yet though.

I've got 8 luck of the draw and from 26 arena challenges i got only 3 or 4 godlies.
Considering i had to spend about 25 godlies to beat them i will run out soon and be able to do only lower arenas from then on. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Uhm. Yeah, the code to calculate the elemental factor is there, but it's not actually a part of the equation. Gonna fix that soon-ish. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

But hard is normal* for me... I really don't see how its getting any harder with the exception that, "oh, I can't grind hundreds of rounds anymore without extra costs to me." If people are having such a hard time, it might not necessarily be the changes added, but the stat build or equipment build or for [insert location of afterlife] sake not the playing strategy that is so one sided that you can't play the way you used to.
