This is mostly a balancing/tweak release, but there's a couple of minor new features as well. Enjoy.

Stat system changes

- Changed the way the system combines all percentage stats that should naturally land between 0-100% from additive to multiplicative. You can no longer combine items to form a base above 100%.
-- The affected stats are: Attack/Magic accuracy, Attack/Magic mitigation, elemental mitigations, evade, parry, block and resist.
-- For example, equipping two items with +50% will now result in a 75% total bonus. Three items with +50% will result in 87.5% bonus. Four will give 93.75%. Five will give 96.875%.
-- This change also applies to how aura bonuses interact with equipment bonuses. So if you have +50% from gear and +6% from an aura bonus, the result will be 53%.
-- The change does NOT apply to active buffs, like the Parry bonus from Overwhelming Strikes, nor does it apply to things like the Elemental Rating buff from infusions.

- The Derived Attributes "Evade Chance" and "Resist Chance" have been removed from the Character Screen. "Attack Hit Chance" and "Magic Hit Chance" have changed to "Attack Accuracy" and "Magic Accuracy", and is now the actual chance you have to land an attack or spell, before equipment bonuses are taken into account.
-- Note that this is more of a "make more sense, damnit" change. Internally, not much have changed. Hit calculations and buffs/debuffs still work like before.

- Added the "Resist" equipment stat. Note that none of the currently dropping equips actually have this stat yet.

Weapon balancing changes

- Increased the base chance for Domino Strike from 20% to 35%. The factors from STR and DEX were lowered somewhat.

- The damage from Domino Strike has been slightly increased, to 75% for the closest mobs and 50% to the ones further away.

- The off-hand weapon for the dual-wield fighting style is now subject to the following modifications:
-- Attack Damage Multiplier is reduced by 50%
-- Parry Chance is increased by 50%
-- The penalties to offhand damage are reduced with a higher proficiency. Penalties are reduced by one percentage point for every ten points of proficiency, capping with 25% reduction at 250 proficiency.

- Overwhelming Strikes no longer increases block chance. Attack damage mod has been increased to 15%.

Misc

- Reduced the store value on a large number of items. Now, start using them instead of just selling.

- Reduced healing cost for health/mana by half.

- Made some tweaks to drop rates. Mana consumables now drop slightly more often. Spirit consumables, Infusions and Scrolls will drop less frequently.
-- The normal consumable loot tree no longer drops elixirs at a certain quality, it now caps at godlies. The general "special" drop rate which includes elixirs has been increased significantly instead.

- The duration on the Spark of Life and Absorb scrolls have increased from 15 to 50.

- The duration on the Fire/Cold/Elec/Wind infusions has been increased to 25 turns.

- The battle screen will no longer hook key events if you're holding the control or shift key.

- Double-clicking an item in your item inventory will now slot it in the first available battle slot, provided you have any free slots.

- Reduced the power of Regen by 40% and increased duration by 100%. Regen no longer has an initial higher burst of healing.

- The restocker will now also suck up some overflow from the Item Shop. That is, there shouldn't be 50000 health elixirs anymore.

Thanks for the heal cost reduction.
Fuck, my infusions are worthless.
Boo for regen! We need that to keep up with the onslaught of damage on the higher arenas :\ Now it can't even consistently make up for the attacks from a single mob, let alone 5-6.
Yay for elixirs? This means more godly mana draughts AND a higher general elixir chance right? Either way, thank you for reducing the bazaar cost for mana elixirs.

This sucks. Instead of 65 HP now it restores only 40 HP for me. Its like drinking crude health draught and that is on higher levels pretty useless (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) If you increased the power and reduced the duration that would be much better.

Tenb: I just did some arenas and i am having a hard time. They sem to hit quite a bit harder than before about 50%ish and have very little, almost no miss, so now 3 monsters in 2 rounds can drain all of my 1800 HP.
This is pretty drastic, even cookie monster hits for 30+ dmg with absolutely no regard for a shield. (it used to do about 12ish before the update.)

Can you explain what exactly is causing this and what can we do to reduce the dmg? Accept for becoming total Tesco freezer? see example below.

9 2 You hit Cookie Monster for 329 slashing damage.
9 1 Regen restores you with 40 points of health.

I'm glad I already spent millions on Luck training so I can be rewarded with mostly Godly potions. Also, regen blows now, so much that it can't even cover damage from a few monsters on normal, and that is with heavy armor (also suck much harder with mitigations hacked to bits,) and 195 proficiency.

Hito is not amused by these changes.

I'm at the point where I actually keep my mana elixirs and use them, not sell them, so I'm happy with their price decrease, but I've gotta agree on the whole. How many people actually have use for the infusions? Essentially mages only. Making them cheaper won't make the rest of us use them - just make us less enthusiastic when we find them.

And I might have to actually start use godly health draughts now instead of just mana, since regen is kinda nerfed :\

Edit: Oh god, I just almost died on killzone several times, which I never have any trouble with, and I used 3 more godly mana draughts than normal ;_; Dual Wield and Regen have been nerfed too much.

Seriously. The gear I find are generally worthless compared to the stuff I have now. I have NEVER gotten anything above Superior, and let's not mention the better material like Kevlar, so I'm not going to bother to list what I have. What else am I going to do other than selling it for a whee bit of credit gain?

All this is just making my desire to donate less and less, I'm afraid.

Actually, high-level dualwielders are less affected than lower-level ones, as they get a lower damage penalty on the offhand.

Regen was changed from a replacement to Cure to a longer-term addition. It was never supposed to soak up the damage from ten mobs wailing on you, and it still heals about the same per MP as it did before.

And yes, partially this was to make health restoratives also have a meaning at higher levels.
