Unfortunately I can't play as described by Nezu. Unfortunately I can't play as described by Nezu. Still missing DD 8 and 9, Manehattan Project, and mainly, manual skill (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) .

When I try to play with more precision and attention, I get a maximum of 40 turns (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) , but I lose between 3 and 4 minutes (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) . So, obviously, I prefer to play more comfortably. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

i think nezu can do it in 14~15 minutes but he currently just cares about turns

There's a decent amount of RNG involved - it took me a few runs before I was able to get those results. Your imperils are 70 higher than mine so there might be something there to consider?

And yeah, I only really care about turns. Real-time is a measure of skill, sure, but it's not a good comparison between different players - only against my own past times. I'd rather measure myself by something anyone could compete with.

Oh yes, I know the number of turns is the best benchmark. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) But in my case, as I don't have much skill or patience to keep trying to be more precise, I ended up opting for an intermediate game pattern between what you do, and what I did before. I highly doubt that I'll ever be able to get close to your result, but I'll be happy to keep reducing turns as I evolve and acquire the remaining perks. About the amount of Imperil I apply, as I said, as my current playing style is intermediate, I apply less than before, but if I apply a lot less I end up taking longer to defeat the monsters. Also, I think the current amount is consistent with the total amount of turns (1 every 9 turns).

In addition, the number of failures in Imperil is greater than yours. According to what I understand, I don't know if it's correct, in my case 28.83% of Imperil failed [(320/(370*3)) = 0,2883]. In your case it would be 20.71%. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

First time DwD, lv 308 1h with ex weapon, bad network on the phone:
5800+ turns, 4500s
Considering how clunky it is to use abilities and spells on the phone I didn't use Imperil, just Vital Strike and OFC.
When there're 3 SGs at the same time, for me it actually takes less real time (more turns of course) to simply OFC and slowly stab everyone to death than Vital Strike each SG down, that's how bad playing on mobile is.

What is the ideal way to beat it? Try Imperil - Shield Bash - Vital Strike to one-hit the SGs and attack the rest? I really have no idea.

That's likely, yeah, I have 600 depr prof and the deprecating prof perk (adds up to about 16% counter-resist for what that's worth).

About that, I didn't change my internet. From time to time the connection with HV is very good. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) But in general, on most days I'm between 2,7 and 3,0 t/s. Above 3 is an exception.

I think what happens is that I'm getting more used to the DW style every day (but obviously I'm hardly going to reach your skill level or Nezu's (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) ).

The only thing I changed was my keyboard, almost two weeks ago. But I don't believe it made a significant difference. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

I redid my IW for both my weapons - now they're both Overpower 5 Fatality 4 - and I was able to get a 2696 today on DWD even though it's not Friday. I think with 25xx might be doable on Friday, although I guess after this Friday, there'll be the temp damage bonus from isekai, so I have no idea how much that's gonna push my time down.

Elec day today, and I am trying to Imperil SG-only when they showed up. The result is exact 2000 turns.

Compare to my previous full Imperil DwD, I cut off 100 turns directly from less Imperil (since non-SG will die before SG anyway).

Although today is not the Elec day, but since 0.88 is coming along with arena changes, I am trying my best today with the "Legacy DwD". And here it is: 1769 turns (1.915t/s).

This result happened just after I hit level 350 and after that I seemed to dance around 5300-5700 rounds for a while until I changed weapon from an Estoc to a Longsword in January, then hit a low of 5100-5200 I think, average went down to 5400, modified keybinds and the way I play to a very sloppy but comfy style and my time decreased but turns went up sky high, now being between 5700-6350 turns (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)



This one being from the 370s or so, haven't really paid much attention lately so there's a chance the 30 minute mark has already been beaten, who knows, but it seems the sloppier I play the faster I end up even if turns increase. Also my current boots are a good 40+ levels behind and I've really slacked on forging all of my current gear but since I have my remaining Exodia parts on the back waiting for IW and soulfuse as soon as I get to level 400 it seems it's better to put up with stuff as it is for a mere 19 levels more, then comes the forging to 7 or 10 and hopefully there's more improvement before the monster scaling catches up. Seems I'm already at the "melee barrier"'s entrance though so we'll see then (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/faint.gif)

Well, since this thread is getting deprecated soon might as well post what I had left.





Around level 387 I noticed I had broken the 30 min mark so another milestone reached (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) , however I kept the comfy playing style so the turns stayed sky high. I did indeed managed to get my new gear IWed and soulfused when I reached level 400 but I haven't had a chance to play everything in one go and might not be able to do so before the update hits, however I caught a small glimpse of turns around 5400 recently (level 402-403 maybe) so I guess my turns still vary quite a bit but not THAT much nowadays.

I'll throw in a pre-soon-to-be-legacy-dwd stat block.
