Been a heck of a while since I did this.

Non bonus day, no enchants/scrolls/infusions/anything.
Imperil only on schoolgirls.

2380, 3 horses, Electromage.

Bonus day with infusions:

1,924 turns.
I think that's my lowest turns for DwD so far (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
t/s a bit low for going afk for a bit

Almost another 700 turns better

Switched to Legendary Arctic Club of Slaughter + Legendary Demonic Rapier of Balance.

Also added more forging for ADB and crit chances.

For now I am still on DD0.
DD1 should shave a few hundred turns.

I am also thinking about getting Evil Enchantress for better imperil accuracy.

Using hoverplay I was 1 second slower yesterday than my manual first attempt six levels ago....

My first run as Fire mage. No hover used btw, not until I understand how its working:

I don't know how you guys do it, but imo hover is only even worth it on schoolgirl arenas, at least until maybe my gear and proficiencies are improved the point where I'm not constantly interrupted by resisted imperils and low health situations.

It gets easier once your proficiency goes up and if you forge your gear. I know its a tall order given how expensive forging is. But thats really the only way to improve your survivability. Arenas are a cake walk with forged gear. The only time you'll ever really have to heal is in item world and grindfests.

Improved your time by >6min and 259 turns and only took 3/4 of the damage--that seems like something..

DW Build
Low-ish forged 38 Leg Ethereal Slaughter Club and forged 30 Leg Shocking Balance Rapier
Random Legendary Shade 2 Negation 2 Shadowdancer 1 Fleet,
Added an infusion to each of club and rapier
Imperil SGs when they appear, and try to time automatic Frenzied Blows onto optimal groups of 5, or whatever's left.

Simple to manage, faster than 1H and not an expensive build by any means

34:01 to complete, which is bit better than average run time, I run anywhere 33-36 mins usually.

I think simply improving damage is the only way to improve.

As for mage, I simply cannot master all of the keyboard + hover activities to make mage approach this. Do you have to use a mouse, as opposed to a touchpad? Getting hover to halt just before you finish one mob so you can imperil the next one instead of an useless spell rotation...I find it tough to get the timing down. Anyways, I still like it as a diversion occasionally...but not for DWD.

Time shafted by 6min just because I am more concentrated (see my t/s). 259 turns might not seem too much, but the damage I took indeed improved by few.
