There's a bit you could do without spending any money. Use Imperil on the on everything until the SG rounds, then only imperil the SG's and hit them with Vital Strike when they're stunned. SG's are weaker to holy/dark, so use a holy infusion. Vital Strike + Merciful Blow on the dragons would shave a couple turns too. I bet doing those would save you a couple hundred turns at least.

Nice, first time below 10k turns? Congrats! There is still a lot of room for improvement in your gear. At your level, wouldn't it be possible to use only magnificents and legendaries? And for now, I'd stick to 'hard' against schoolgirls. Always make sure you're hard when facing schoolgirls, that used to be the saying here. Of course, the difficulty of the game has changed somewhat since then. But still, the income is from trophies, not from other drops. So, hell, you could even play it on normal! (Except that normal sucks)

the schoolgirl-trophies and boss trophies can be sold on the WTB-forum section. There are a lot of buyers, so the prices are quite high at the moment. You could probably do more arena's when you have time by playing the last 3 (110 round, 125 round, 150 round) on Hard. The other arena's should be played at PFUDOR if you can manage that. Because, that gives a far better chance for good equipment drops.

Equal, I'd say. It's fastest if you have a specialized build that is fully optimized for DWD. I do have that. But my staff isn't peerless.

Holy definitely has an advantage because of the -10% magic mitigation. But good holy gear is also about 5-10x as expensive, if not more, so it's a case of 'if you have to ask that question, you aren't ready to play holy yet'.

Ugh, I had a suspicion that my current DW build/playstyle sucks but did not expect it's that bad. (hover attack + frenzied blows when available without using spirit stance)

Considering that I took very little damage and didn't need to use any health/spirit draughts/potions (aside from one miss-click) I guess that i took defense too far.

yes, club + rapier is the best combo. Even when using heavy armor I only have to heal on fridays, less than 10 times

I wouldn't say it was slow. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) For me, your result was excellent, especially considering that it was the first time. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)

These results are already after I acquired the 5 levels of Innate Arcana. They are a little better than the previous ones.

One thing I find interesting in your play, is that you can use Vital Strike efficiently. In my tests, in the 110 and 125 round arenas, the results were much worse than using only OFC. I still intend to do this test in the last arena, after I finish testing with DW, but mainly, after I buy a new mouse (the current one is a disaster, with the two buttons failing every now and then, and the broken wheel)(I need to leave laziness behind and buy one urgently (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) ).

Try making a move using only OFC, and another using only Vital Strike, and then compare (except on Friday).
