I tried using Infusions and the improvement was less than expected, almost negligible. The main benefit is when not using Vital Strike, to reach higher turns/second. But it's still not better than Vital Strike yet. Eventually it might be, with Imperil or stronger equipment.

I almost never use infusions but I tried them today since it's both void day and easter. I'm surprised that I continue to keep up with level scaling. I'm not slower than I was back at level 360, with or without infusions.

After a couple years, new panty obliterated my previous record by almost the same amount it increased my adb. So lololo16 might have been right, and when I hit level 400 and soulfuse my last 3 pieces I might be able to put forth an interesting 1H result. These days I always use infusions and usually imperil in normal play, but imperil does not help me much in DwD yet so I didn't use it for this run.

Regular arenas are not like school girl ones though: I have indeed been getting slower at higher level. From my haste and imperil tests, I got ~2.7% slower from level 378 to level 387. Changing my panty restored me to ~3% faster than level 378 in regular arenas.

This is because school girl arenas are less dependent on raw damage due to Vital Strike, so side stats which always improve with level matter more (they do not scale down like damage does). Back when I was level 360 I could kill the weakest of regular monsters with one plain ordinary (critical) hit. Right now my raw damage level is less than half of that: I can't even kill any imperiled monsters with one plain hit.

I still use haste, and do not have Orbital Friendship Cannon (though I am close to unlocking it through self drops).

Honestly don't really have the gear, forge, perks or IW to have some presentable result, in fact the first 40 rounds had the absolute worst connection lag I've seen in a while, but since it worked fine after that and after having invested those minutes troubleshooting and removing the fluff from the script to have something to show might as well post it for future reference in case good stuff comes my way.

Fixed my weapon's potencies, got the second level of Dark Imperil, forged the weapon's damage up by 2 extra levels (to a total of 7), went up 3 levels and I think it's Dark day today.

Shaved off 555 turns, not enough but it's a start I guess.

and he've used 13 infusions even during the whole 150 rounds lol
but he still can finish dwd in 12 mins without any infusion

Forged a bit more, got the third level of Dark Imperil and leveled up a bit more, so for future references this was written when I was level 324 on a Cold Day? (given I messed up the Dark and All days' results), so the turns still seem high but I can definitely feel improvement.
Given that Dark Imperil, Better Imperil and Better Heartseeker's upgrades seem to be around the corner and since I've yet to go full shade or legendary I guess I'll refrain to post these for a while, but hopefully there can be even more improvement in the future.

Dark is usually played imperil these days. Only holy gets superior turn counts as non-imperil, although it's possible that with good enough gear & DD9 & high base prof, one can get close enough for real-time to be better. However... there is no non-imperil against SGs at all - even holy imperils the schoolgirls, to reduce their magic mitigation, because their high health pool makes it more worthwhile. Noni's gear is definitely not peerless, and he has a fair amount of room for improvement on most pieces that aren't his staff (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
