I tried using VS instead of OFC today... Lv.: 337 Style: 1H Heavy Perks: IA3 (SoL, SS, Protection) Items: Draught, Infusion of Divinity, Aether Shard... Skills & Spell Used: Regen & Heartseekers always on, Imperil + VS on SG... Stats & Equips: [attachmentid=125760] Results: [attachmentid=125761] hmm... my turns improved by ~1k turns... though it could be affected by my improvement of stats and equips, especially my helmet & shield and dmg bonus day of void vs dark... but my t/s become worse which made me slower by ~10 minutes... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) with ~1t/s maybe I better use OFC which requires less attention instead of VS...

You can set up script so that you have VS on a button press instead of having to manually press it - there's no way it should slow you down by that much.

I already keybinded my usual skill like this... CODE Bind(KEY_Q, Use(1)); Bind(KEY_W, Use(2)); Bind(KEY_E, Use(3)); Bind(KEY_R, Use(4)); Bind(KEY_A, Toggle('Attack')); Bind(KEY_S, Toggle('Spirit')); Bind(KEY_D, Cast('Vital Strike')); Bind(KEY_F, Strongest([Use(4), Cast('Cure'), Cast('Full-Cure')])); Bind(KEY_Z, Cast('Regen')); Bind(KEY_X, Cast('Heartseeker')); Bind(KEY_C, Cast('Orbital Friendship Cannon')); Bind(KEY_V, Cast('Imperil')); Bind(KEY_B, Cast('Weaken')); the only thing I need to click manually is when I need to use mana & spirit pot which I don't use too often... I didn't use mouse scroll because mine is a little broken... and before people mentions about alt.HV... here's my ping result of both of them...

Alt doesn't go through the Cloudflare network. That's why the performance is (way) better.

Lv. 411 Style: Fire (4+1). Perks: Enigma Energizer, Eminent Elementalist, Evil Enchantress, Innate Arcana I-IV, Dæmon Duality I. Debuff: Imperil, Item: Health Draught, Mana Draught, Health Potion, Mana Potion. Normal Day: Turns: 24xx. Bonus Day: Turns 23xx. There's not much difference. Well enigma didn't triggered on bonus day... but still. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) I'll come back next year to see how much I improved. QUOTE(Null2Null @ Jan 8 2019, 11:38) redwood is not a good choice (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif) Well, I'm not a Fire Mage so no sure about that. But for Cold Mage, Redwood of Destruction is the best choice for SG Arenas only, in everything else Willow is superior. I think Fire and Cold are the same when talking about staves iirc. And the difference between LFRD and LFWD would't be inmense on normal arenas since monsters don't resist imperil as much as in PFIW and PFUDORFest (making the natural cr and higher dep prof less noticeable), and the higher ele prof and elemental damage of a redwood staff allows you to kill by brute force those 1-2 monsters that every now and then resist the imperil phase. Of course, if a player is rich enough to buy and forge one willow (for iw, fest and normal arenas) and one redwood (for sg arenas) that would be the best option. But if you only plan on using your staff for arenas leaving outside iw and pfest then I think a redwood is the best option due to sg arenas taking more than a third of the total time needed to clear all arenas except the first five and it's easier to reduce clear times from those than the other way around (more so if you are ultra-poor like me). That's my personal opinion. And finally, I didn't want to start a discussion of what's the best staff for x or y element or for this or that battle mode I just wanted to leave a record to compare it later on 2020 if god is still blessing me with life and I'm still playing the game. I'm out. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/lurk.gif) This post has been edited by Xythy: Jan 9 2019, 04:09

Look at tracert. I get similar numbers, but the ping is high only on 1st 2 jumps, which means, my network's DHCP server sends ICMP packets for a loop before they get out. Even if http packets follow same rout, when session gets established it should skip those steps.

If you are using imperil, I think using 4phase+1cotton for more damage is better. I would suggest prof hath perk>DD1 and don't forge your phase because your phase pieces are non charged/radiant, it is not worth to invest in it. GS is always good for more income. AFK Magnificent charged is way better than plain legendary. And you need Daemon Duality 1 at the very least, it's a must have for mage.

Not really useful no... costs too much turns, in which you need to heal again etc.
