My base attack damage only went up 27% with the new gear but turns somehow improved by 37%. I thought I played faster than ever but my turns/second dropped. My connection speed varies a bit, and my computer is slow and browser randomly freezes for ~15 seconds several times each DwD run.

I updated my power accessories, increasing my attack damage by another 3%. Turns reduced a further 7% but I think this was more due to my new buckler, as it enabled me to slightly change strategy against the final groups of 3 schoolgirls. I beatdown Konata then Vital Strike each Haruhi, by that time all the regular monsters are dead from pure counterattacks with no Penetrated Armor.
Today my internet was faster than before and for the first time in my life I exceeded 2 turns/second, on most of the easier arenas.

Thanks to a self drop, I finally got a complete power set. Turns improved slightly less than damage this time but it's what I originally expected. I made changes to my record keeping and script settings to improve my turns/second and if I'm lucky I'll now complete DwD without encountering my periodic browser freeze.

Frankly, you're quite slow for someone who has fully forged a rapier and who has a very high attack base damage for that level.

New hath perks, no significant equipment changes. Dæmon Duality did not improve my time nearly as much as expected so I tried once more and got an impressive 13% improvement. Innate Arcana does not improve my turns or speed the way I use it, which is purely for mana conservation. I almost always hard cast Protection, Spark, Haste, and Shadow Veil so I can get Channeling for Regen and Heartseeker.
I don't know what went wrong the first time. Due to bad luck there were a few times I had no Heartseeker but it wasn't long. I played slower than ever the second time to be careful but my turns/second increased via internet randomness. My turns/second is slightly higher in general after I cleaned the inside of the power supply of my rusty PC, which was having trouble.

Going from DD1 to DD5 only improved my turns by 10% which isn't too unreasonable after Vital Strike damage exceeds the needed amount. Resplendent Regeneration is awesome but doesn't affect clear times.
I figured out why my first DwD run with DD1 was slow. It's because I did it on a Monday (dark +10%) while I've been doing all my other tests since acquiring new gear on Friday (all +5%). All melee players should do their DwD runs on Friday because the +5% bonus also applies to void damage, which includes void strike, your main hand attack, counter attacks, etc.

I tried using Infusions and the improvement was less than expected, almost negligable. The main benefit is when not using Vital Strike, to reach higher turns/second. But it's still not better than Vital Strike yet. Eventually it might be, with Imperil or stronger equipment.
I didn't realize Holy (and Wind) Infusions cost so much more (than even Dark Infusions). Must be because of mages. If considering Infusion cost, I guess a holy rapier is much preferred to a dark one. I don't plan to use Infusions for the time being anyway.

You can remove "manapot.png|" from line "alertBuffs: ..." to disable that behavior. And add new ones...
