Beating DwD without any consumables. I wonder if this is even possible.

btw what's your strategy optimization? Saw you using absorb and focus, are they a thing? I think it really comes down to later rounds where three SGs show up and currently what I'm doing ins imperil-vs on them, but was wondering if there's a better strategy

Absorb is just to try trigger channeling for buffs. Focus because fuck this

I use it sometimes if I'm out of spirit stance by the beginning of the round, which is very rare. In SS it's not worth using. Though before I got decently forged armor at ~360lv I would not dare use it on pfudor because of damage taken.

Main improvement is just getting used to hover keys for vital and imperil and not overusing imperil.
Idk if my strategy is gonna work for you, because my vs can finish off SG after stacking a bit of penetrated armor on it and I don't use it on Konata if other SGs are present.
But for the record in 1-2 SG rounds I tend to spread imperil on everything at the beginning of the round, like most people. Then start hovering SG and hold down vital key when it gets a stun, if that happens too quickly and it's not imped, I might wait for 2nd stun for more penetrated armor stacks.
At 3 SG rounds I start by hovering SG, vital it after 2nd stun, if it doesn't crit or bleed use imperil, to finish it with regular attacks, while vital is on cd. If it crits or bleeds, SG is as good as dead and I switch to next one. By the time I finish SGs most of mob hp is gone to counters. If miss vital timing at the begging of the round, then I can use OFC.

Yep, I have similar stats to Saioux. Unfortunately, it takes me 48 mins and around 5k turns.

edit: Looking back, my fastest was 38 mins 5K+ turns and 2.4 t.s.

I am not even talking about the time. Your internet connection has too much to do with that as if i would actually care. But please explain to me how i am suppose to feel when someone with less damage, less crit chance, less stats overall, clear DwD with lesser turns as my personal record. And yes, 4475 turns is my absolute best clear ever. Or at least of those few i actually did even look at. And this was on a fryday with frost infusion, imperil, and the best ussage of vital strike and the OFC i am able to. This is not fair. This is just not fair. I was never allowed to play in the easy mode of the game myself. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) All i am allowed to is seen people with lower level, worse equipment and stats doing times i can only dream of. I do allways my best to help people. T_T I feel sorry for you uncle...Yea I just find it ridiculous that monsters scale more than characters. If my setup scaled to level 500 is equivalent to yours, the sensible way of scaling would be you clear the arena faster than me, but nah they decided to fuck up non-mage max level ppl cuz fuck us right? Many times after a PFFEST I highly considered switching to mage, but I feel like I invested too much time and resources into 1H to switch in the end.

Seems quite nice, my last run I got around 5000 turns lol if I recall correctly. I didn't keep track of data or optimize for DwD though, morely doing it for PFFEST.
