20k is not the increment for equips between 100k and 250k. It is 10k.
Therefore, 240k+10k=250k, and then 250k+25k=275k.
It has absolutely nothing to do with your future build.

No, that definitely depends on my future bid.
Because I added 20k, twice increment. 240k to 260k. Then when I reached a new threhold, my bid that is over 250k becomes the new parameter rather than the last bid being the parameter. I have change my bid and increment again otherwise my new bid 260k does not fulfill the requirement of new range.
If that's the case, next time i won't add anymore but minimum increment.

Yeah I'm confused by this - his bid met/exceeded the criteria. If he had not put up enough, it makes sense for it to be invalid.

You bid so that the resulting amount fits the ranges nicely, end of discussion. That much should be obvious to everyone.

I don't want to be mean or anything, but you were playing with fire and you burned yourself. trying something like that right before the end and all.
You should have asked how exactly it works beforehand, especially when I've got other things to do than tracking everyone's bids at the minute near and then tell me "this is wrong" as soon as they post.

The reason I randomly add more than minimum is basically I never wanted to stingy. My first bid on clo03 was long ago. Then the next bid after me was 2 hours before the end, so I didn't have that time to "test" the system.

Also It seem bullshitting to you, but I'm trying to figure out how the rules work, since the common case is increment is determined by the last bid, not affected by the bid one is going to make after that one. Clearly it was not me playing something bad, but the rule is not "the common case".
