Forget the old thread I have, it's dead**.

This will be breaking down to 3 sections: commissioning, photoshop help/sig work/banner work, and blogger help (wordpress.org is included, but I've just started using it half a year ago and spent all that time messing with .css, plug-ins, widgets, so there's a limit of what I can do to).

Commissions -

I scan pretty much anything (I scan magazines but I rather wait on that until I'm done going through my HUGE tank-load and my Wordpress blog. I won't scan licensed mangas...it what got me in this huge backup of tanks to begin with). I have an EPSON v550 Photo and v37 Photo just in case my first one is fucked.
I do want a v800 or up, or even a 10000XL but that's in the $800s-$1000s and I only work at a minimum-wage 2-day job, so....yeah.

All of my scans consist of 600dpi greyscale (8-bit) and color (24-bit) TIF files using EPSON v550.
When I scan, because I know many people complained of the missing 1-3cm of detail per page because I crop+scan, that's due to 1.) my 24" monitor (I want a 40" monitor, there's a good Sceptre monitor that's $190 @ WalMart but don't have the money to pay for, so if anyone can help me out that would be good), and 2.) cropping manually on Photoshop per page takes too long. I then undergo on Photoshop to level, straighten, fill in empty spaces, get rid of glue, and sometimes de-censor each scan before I convert them to color JPG or greyscale PNG in Caesium (which is then compressed further using PNGyu) before uploading.

So, how do you go by wanting your books scanned?

1. You send me the list of books you want ordered; I go and use a deputy service or middleman to send them your order and wait a day to receive notice on how much the items will cost.

2. I inform you of payment, you send out payment to me. Once received, I send the money to the middleman and they buy on our behalf. [NOTE: In the case of stores that can ship overseas, I would need both payment for books AND shipping]

3. Wait for days, or weeks.....months if Comiket, until middleman replies back they receive the books and send me an invoice for how much shipping is gonna be.

4. I inform you of shipping costs, you send me payment for shipping, I send them said payment, and within 24 hours (business-wise) they ship out and headed to my location.

5. My estimated time that I receive the items, since all of them wind up on Customs before I get them:
Mangaoh - 2-3 days
Alicebooks - Dunno I never ordered from them
Mandarake - Both times I ordered I used DHL which I think took 3 weeks, so I dunno how long it'll take using EMS
Toranoana/Melonbooks/Surugaya - These vary because I use different deputy services to order, but all of them have been < 5 days

So, with that's out of the way, here's my method of payment and my commission prices, since I am the one scanning, cleaning, compressing, and uploading to e-hentai or yourself:

Payment: PayPal only
Price: Initial Payment is $10 if order: 1-10 books | $20 if order: 11-20 books | $30 if order: 21-30 books
$40: 31-40 books | $50: 41 and up [before anyone flips their shit this is NOT $$$ for EACH]
PLUS
$2 per doujin
$3 per tankoubon/artbook

Regarding auctions, unless I get confirmation that Buyee or something similar to it deals with R18/R18G stuff cuz I'm NOT gonna undergo getting an Yahoo! Auctions account, I probably won't do this!

Photoshop

I do forum and banner sigs although I stopped doing them at 2011. Now that I have a good laptop/tablet I am thinking about doing them again. Below are sigs I've done since 2007 - 2011:

If you want a sig/banner, PM/e-mail me, ask for what you want, what renders you want in (it's best if you provide links; even better if these renders have transparent or single background), what text you want, etc. I only receive payment after the sig or banner is made and you like it. My sig skills are intermediate and may take days to work on cuz I have a lot of brushes, gradients, c4ds, and patterns to use. Payment is determined depending on how much effort I put in and how long it'll take me to get the sig finished.

Date for Commissioning Deadlines

For those wanting to commission me for tankoubons or illustrations, the deadline is the 7th of September when I order from Mangaoh.

Suruga-ya commissions deadline is September 2nd or 3rd.

Toranoana/Melonbooks may start in October.

Treasure Japan (stopped doing porn)

Did they stop recently? Because I ordered adult doujinshi through them less than 3 weeks ago. Unless you mean AVs?

Some /h/ thread months ago someone said TJ stopped doing all kinds of porn.

I still realized I haven't updated the thread regarding Wordpress/Blogger work which is mostly widgets, plug-ins worth using, theme work (wordpress only), header design, logo design, and favicon design, but I'll do it one of these days...

Now taking commissions for the following stores and when's the deadline to take all orders:
NOTE - I did NOT know this, but Japan is having Golden Week on the 28th through the 6th of May, and only May 1st and 2nd are business days, the rest of the week are holidays and businesses or deputy services, although will accept your order, won't ship on those days!!!

Mangaoh - April 26th or May 1st
Suruga-ya - April 26th
Alice-books - April 26th (I have NEVER used Alice-books, and didn't know they ship overseas, but it's filled with furry and yaoi shit but at least I'll give this a try)
Mandarake - May 1st

Ain't taking Melonbooks or Toranoana until June.

Updated, I was gonna decide to do commissions for MB and Toro in June but now I've changed my mind and will now take orders until May 8th. May 8th is when I'll order all this stuff!

Updated; the reason I haven't purchased any doujins this month is because I was so hyped of Futaket until later on I found out the shit got pushed back to June (WTF) so now for people STILL wanting commissions....NOW's a good time to start making your lists until the 9th of June.

Updated, now taking commissions from two stores. Toranoana changed their site and so far has TONS of errors so until that's fixed I ain't even gonna try shopping there.

Updated again; Toranoana now seems to be working on Chrome and Waterfox (finally), the advanced search feature is still shit though. It is now back on my places to commission.
