I have a few questions. From the FAQ, it says

Does that mean training both of them would be a bad idea which cancels out the benefits?

Also, is it allowed to create more than 1 HV account? I'm thinking about 1 for melee and 1 for mage.

No, the reduction is so small that you can ignore them.

And you can't create more than 1 HV account. Once you're found, there would be an instant ban.

When i choose harder difficulty, i will gain more exp, but what about the credit, chance to get equipment and bla bla... ?
Where can i read the "Terms & Condition Service" of HV ?
Is there some kind of guide in the furture of HV ?

In the new patch, you'll have more credits and higher chance to get better equipments at higher difficulty.

Guide? That's always written by players.

Guild? Don't know, you have to ask Tenb.
If you want to buy/sell your equipments/items, there's WTS/WTB though. Most of them are much cheaper than buying from bazaar.

You can sell to other players, claim bounties, certain auras, dawn of the new day, and toplist.

I've got a question. Does powerup drop chance decrease with levels or something? It says 5 percent on the wiki (which as I've come to figure out is always out of date) but I've gone from on average a powerup every few rounds to powerups maybe every 30 rounds or more.

Gem drops are a matter of luck, the chance does not decrease.

Sometimes you'll get gems every round, sometimes you can go 30+ rounds without a single gem.

It's static as far as we know. The 5% does seem to be out of date...

There's no free heal. The restorative button will heal your HP/MP/SP, but at the same time it will consume your potions, starting from the potions which heals you the least (lesser->average->greater)
However, elixirs won't be used.

If you use heal token, your HP/MP/SP will be fully healed, and 1 healing token will be consumed.

No, they're directly added to character's stats.

Now that the monster list is no longer available, I've just started to manually scan each monster I encounter.
I'm using the scripts HV STAT 5.2.2 / QuickBar 2 v1.0.3.

Questions:
1. How do I check where this data is stored on my laptop? I'm using Chrome.

2. Can this data be restored after I reboot/restart the game?

3. How do I permanently keep my settings/preferences even after I reboot/restart? (I have to ask, because the laptop is shared among my family members & we generally clear the cache/cookies each time we close the browser as well).

4. Did anyone manage to save a copy of the monster list before it was removed? If yes, can this list be shared & uploaded by others?

Fastest way to get to those files is to do this:

(if your on windows)
1. right click and pick properties on the chrome shortcut.
2. click on the button that says Open File Location.
3. go up 1 directory, you should now be in the Chrome Directory.
4. Go into the folder User Data.
5. Go into the folder Default.
6. Go into the folder Local Storage, depending on how many extensions with databases you got installed it might take a while.
7. The file(s) should be chrome-extension_XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX_0.localstorage or http_hentaiverse.org_0.localstorage, where XXXXXXX is some random set of letters, you should only have 1.


Now reading it:
The file(s) are a sqlite database so your going to need a database viewer. You can use SQLite Database Browser.

Make a copy of the file to back it up.

I've managed to locate the database file - http_hentaiverse.org_0.localstorage.

So basically what I have been trying out this afternoon, was to
- logout/close my browser,
- copy/backup the file,
- cleanse,
- restore the file/re-login,
- continue playing & scanning in new monsters into the database.

Guess I'll now have to build up my own monster list as it goes along.

Maybe I'll check with Byledalej if an auto-scan function can be incorporated into his HV STAT add-on. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

scanning takes a turn, you might die before the scan of nine monsters on a IWBTH run if it did that.
