Getting back to abilities again. By getting do you mean "Just put one point and use it for prof" or "MAX THE DAMN THING ASAP"??

Should I get barrier? From what I know so far, magic absorb is almost useless, since magic hits for so much more than physical attacks.

At my level, should I train ability from trainer and max out haste? Or save up for Refined aura?

Q; What is generally considered the best way to get creds? I regularly have about 300 max in my kitty at any one time.

Many. Setting up a H@H client and sell the hath you get is a good way to start. Sell off unused loot such as potions and things to the bazaar is good too. Basically, I sell everything I don't use.

But the best advice I can give you as a fellow new player is to wait it out. Level up. Once you get to do cakeworlds, it's much easier to get credits, because you last much longer in item world-->more mobs killed-->more loot.

But the easiest way is probably get some hath from Hentai@Home, sell them, and then buy some good equipments that'll last a long time. Then just cakefest/cakeworld all the way and sell the drops. Once you got a good set of equipments (costs about 5-8k if you buy second hand, check the WTS section), you don't really need credits for a while. Training is purely optional, so don't feel compelled to train everything. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Hope it helps. BTW, when you buy equipments, at your level it's best to look for stuff with high physical absorb. Also look for a weapon with strong bleed too. That combo works very nicely for me.

That depends. If its just for prof grinding so when you get later spells, then one point will suffice for now. If its a really useful spell that works at all levels, max it when you can.

Don't bother with Barrier.

At least one Refined Aura, two if you can wait it out. Pack Rat is also important, since items improve your endurance for long battles.

Donating money. You aren't supposed to be able to make credits from the HVerse of course high level players can...

C: I might give H@H a go even though I've no idea what it is or if I even can. Thanks for the help Uno.

Check out the Hentai@Home Project FAQ.

In a nutshell, H@H is like bittorrent, but you don't download anything manually. The system decides what files it wants to send you, and then you send out those files to people who are browsing the e-hentai galleries. H@H lets you donate your unused internet bandwidth to the site, and you get Hath and GP in return. If you've got a decent internet connection, you can get several Hath per day from H@H, which sell for 2000+ credits each, over at the Hath Exchange.

Battletoads.

Seriously, you can't guarantee more than 1 level. Higher difficulties just make it more likely.

I levelled up 2-3 times on nightmare, and they always level up 2 levels, this time don't, so I was surprised.
That really suck, I thought Battletoads guarantee 3 levels (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
The conclusion I make is, that I won't ever play more than normal, and is too painful long to level up low level items (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

Yeah, that's what I thought it was. I have mobile broadband and its very limited and restricted so I'll probably have to leave it I'm afraid. Sorry, I know this isn't a question.

Don't worry. Most people here aren't that mean (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (Tenboro included?? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) ). If you can't do that then maybe switch to Cake difficulty (I hope u've done that), and just grind away on grind fest.

These days I've been getting more than the once in a million double level ups on NORMAL difficulty.

Funny now that you said that I didn't get the double level up on normal difficulty, since the HV last version went online

I know, I worded that wrong. I guess you also answered my question though. Chronic stress, and lack of sleep can do funny things to your head after a while.

Q; Does a montage continue running after I've left the page? i.e. Bazzar training.

Yes, after all, the point of doing montage is, to do it, when you're sleeping.
