Will it be better to wait to gain levels before offering my Mysteriuos Box ? Does higher level help for better items ?

I think higher levels give you higher stats. That's why I'm going to keep mine for a while. I hope it doesn't have a expire date.

@Tenb: Do you think you could modify weaken to take your proficiency into account when deciding how much it reduces? Not a huge amount obviously, but maybe scale it so a 200 prof with 5 ability points reduces by 75% instead of 50%?

And is it sad that it took me like a week to understand what you meant by

The effect on supportive will be significant due to the way proficiency is applied across all supportive spells, but not so much on curative (25% with 200 prof).

That was fricken bugging me since I read it. And then it was like duh. Supportive prof not only affects how well the spells like shield work but ALSO how long. Double Whammy.

On that note, do you think you could give us a hint or the actual formula for how much cure prof affects cure amount? Like, I'm wondering how much an increase of 15 curative prof from a staff would actually affect my cure (or regen). It's not quite an immediate need now, since the staff I was looking at buying for it's 15 point curative prof increase was already purchased by someone else, but I'm still curious.

Nice update. Don't have to worry about battle changes, loot chances for Arenas went up, and two free bonuses from my artifacts. Sweetness.

@Tenb: A Bug: Using crtl-f during battle causes focus to be used. Could you please have it detect ctrl and NOT activate focus. I like searching through my logs while the battle is going on, and now I realize why I've accidentally been using focus over and over again.

+1 to that question. I bought chainsaw parts so I could have an effing chainsaw, not so I could give them as an offering to the gods.
Other than that concern, jolly good show old chap. I'm glad you added the spacebar to return to arena screen...

@Tenb: This is more 3.5 related, but I simply can't do arenas on the difficulty I used to. Most arenas have to be done two difficulties below what they used to, and I can't even get to some of the arenas I could before (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif). eInterference and attack/magic accuracy, most of which should have become less of an issue since the change in interference's affect, are simply killing me. Oh, and absorb's tendency to leave me hanging while I get blasted by crit skills.

@ Tenboro, did you change something on the loot drop rate? so far today I have gotten very few drops, compaired to the past week & I just finished another scaverger last night.

just got a +1 permenent attribute for giving up the portal gun and 22 hath for giving up one chaingun fuel "awsome"

I'm liking these new changes a lot :3

Im def not a fan of the new shine yet, but I seem to have my off hand (Im dw) trigger alot more often over the last few battles, I know it was changed in 0.3.5 but I seem to have gotten very lucky in that respect.

Loving how the differculty is displayed. There has been a few times where I've forgotten to lower it in arena, and I know I'm not the only one (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

@Tenboro: There seems to be a bug in the Bazaar Screens, where if one sells an Item that is far down on a long list of items, the menu flashes all the way back up to the top of the entire list, forcing the would-be seller to scroll down and find his or her place once again if he or she is interested in selling multiple items.

Could you please fix that?? I understand that it is a fairly minor annoyance, but an annoyance nonetheless.

Just offered up the box.

Pro: The Exquisite Club I got seems way better than any other weapon I've seen until now.

Con: It's my current level, so later I imagine it's going to seem feeble.

Just tried it. At first I thought it was no big deal, and in fact seemed a little worse than what I had before oddly. Th en I remembered: This isn't the Grindfest. This isn't on Cake. This is the toughest Arena I've ever completed, and this is on Normal. And it's cutting through these monsters just about as well as I used to do in the Grindfest on Cake.

This is a nice reward. Very nice. Even without the 33% chance of a two turn stun.
