No problems here. Do you have the recent FF update?

QUOTE(johnstobbart @ Sep 12 2009, 01:08) DAMN!!!!!! The monsters on normal are still too fast and too powerful! Please, please, please, PLEASE make them weaker Tenboro. It's getting too frustrating and it's just not how it should be on normal. Please do something about this.
Remember, everytime you gain a level the mobs get a little tougher, just hang in there & work on building abilities.

anyone else notice one of the recent patches cut draught, potion npc value in half? e.g. godly mana potion used to sell to bazaar for 113 gp, now 57 gp

I do, but it's too damn annoying. Especially when there are like 5 or 6 monsters and they all hit hard twice every turn even though I have a high agility. I'm playing on normal, normal shouldn't be this hard under any circumstances.

Have you ever taken part in a thread and not complained? Just curious.

Especially because that complaint is SO worthless. Hell, things are too easy for me on normal, maybe I should complain to Tenboro to make things harder. Yes, I could go to the settings page and adjust the difficulty, but why should I have to go to that much effort? It is better for Tenboro to make sweeping changes in difficulty based on my whims.

(IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) I still had 3.1 or something.... Funny thing..DLable fonts worked perfectly on the old version but with the update they look screwy and hard to read..

Ha ha, you're so damn funny and clever. Changing the difficulty earns you less credits. It's bad enough that there aren't any credit gain boosters anymore. Plus, my slow connection makes it take a lot longer than it does for people with faster connections. When mobs of about 8 or 9 monsters come, every click makes me wait 4 or 5 seconds before loading. It might not seem like much, but after an hour or two, it adds up. You obviously don't think deep enough into anything. Also, it's not just my whims, it's pretty much everyone that's having troubles with monsters being too strong. Even if my complaint is worthless, at least I tried, unlike most people who don't bother trying anything. To Kleenex. No, I always complain. I'm having my period and have knives stuck in my back. Also, Will Smith sucks ass. He can't act and he's an arrogant freak. Complaining is the only thing I can do since I'm a lousy, stupid terrorist that hates everything. Admitting your problem is the first step to solving it.

By the way, why does training of one level of Adept Learner still only take 5 seconds?

Shhh, let's hope that's intended and not just something Tenboro forgot to change back :3. I kinda like the fast training.

Your interpretation of "most people" not complaining is that "pretty much everyone" agrees with you but doesn't say it. Interesting. If you're Lv30 and getting 5 or 6 monsters, you've already managed to get through quite a few rounds before you reach that point. This post has been edited by Panuru: Sep 13 2009, 01:07

People have complained in this thread and previous Hentaiverse threads, look through them if you don't believe me. I can only get 5 or 6 monsters on cake, not normal.

You didn't realize that I was referring to the internal logic of what you said, not making any statement about whether it's accurate. edit: I suppose I will also note that people have been complaining in the HV threads for the past 5 months. You should look at which ones got a response and which ones didn't then rephrase your concern accordingly. I'm mentioning this to help you get what you want, not to be a jerk. Usually ppl under 40 or something can do unlimited cake so if you cant you are doing it wrong, not that its hard.

I'm reading that as a serious statement. Thank you. I know I'm great. QUOTE(johnstobbart @ Sep 12 2009, 14:40) Changing the difficulty earns you less credits. It's bad enough that there aren't any credit gain boosters anymore.
Complaining about credits... The loss of your pathetic bonuses does not phase me. I bet I've spent more credits buying Chainsaw parts than you have ever earned. If you are getting mobs of 8 or 9, then you are getting really far. I can only do that on Cake... Oh, and get a faster internet connection instead of complaining. QUOTE(johnstobbart @ Sep 12 2009, 14:40) You obviously don't think deep enough into anything.
Oh, I think very deeply into everything. I've been accused many times of looking TOO deep into things. Your problem is that you assume I care about anything you can ever say. I don't. QUOTE(johnstobbart @ Sep 12 2009, 14:40) Also, it's not just my whims, it's pretty much everyone that's having troubles with monsters being too strong.
You have not gotten nearly far enough to be able to say it is too hard. Arenas with 12 rounds and waves of minibosses are hard. Everything else is tasty as Cake. Even when you have it on Normal difficulty.

QUOTE(Tenboro @ Sep 10 2009, 07:55) - Most arenas now have minimum quality caps for consumable drops. No, that doesn't mean that First Blood will always drop elixirs, but it does mean that Endgame won't drop lessers.

I need some general help again. I only recently hit level 30, and I got the shield ability, but from my experience it doesn't seem to be worth it. It lasts for 15 turns, but the amount of damage it blocks is negligible. It also costs about 1/12th of my total MP, points that seem to be better for Weaken or Heal. Shield for me costs 7, Weaken costs 5, and Heal costs 8. Even with big mobs it doesn't seem to help enough to cast as opposed to saving the points for a heal spell. However I have heard people praise its uses on various topics. When does shield actually become beneficial?
