QUOTE(xWKx @ Sep 6 2009, 12:24) What? No excitement about the new font feature? I currently have it set to Times New Roman, font size 11, bolder, oblique, with -4 vertical adjust. It looks okay for the most part, but the character page has the lines going through the headings. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I'm not bored enough to try several settings just to find a better fond. I'm fine with the one I'm getting by default. And I still don't use those downloadable ones. Why should I even care as long I can read it?

QUOTE(bladejtr @ Sep 6 2009, 03:51) No, my dual wield light armor build works great.
AGI + END + Sleep + Cure + Rapier + Light Armor. With this setup Interference hasn't been a big deal with Sleep. It rarely fails because of that, and when it does it takes little time and apparently no SP so I can just fire it off again right away. I was already tempted to go dual since my Shield doesn't benefit from the light armor proficiency that everything else is using. You just confirmed my thought as good I guess. Now I just need to find another good Rapier in the shop. Another good one should increase my damage some, plus give me a greater ability to avoid attacks.

Less than 1 hour ago, I stated that I don't care for the font as long it's readable. In spite of this, I changed the font because the use of the old one slowed the battle down. At least, this could be the reason behind this behavior. Now I use Comic Sans MS, size 10, bolder, oblique and -4 vertical adjust. For me, it seems to be working fine. Wait, this is too crowed: [ hv.e-hentai.org] http://hv.e-hentai.org/?s=Bazaar&ss=esWhy aren't all pages using the same font? Sometimes, even parts of a page have different font than others on the same page. Tenboro, can you fix this? It's looking ugly. This post has been edited by moonflow: Sep 6 2009, 14:07

Alright, I'm going to say it: Interference is killing my magic. I'm losing roughly 43% of my proficiencies because of it. And my support/curative aren't exactly that great to begin with. I understand why it was done, but that doesn't mean I have to like it.

This. I've lost at over half of my Support and Curative (which are about half of my level ATM) due to Interference, which I've actually been slowly decreasing with proficiency (adds up to 106.9, reduced to 89.1) and better quality equipment. Curative took less of a hit, but still. At least the auto-restock of items means I can live in a Cake grind and spam magic until the zombie cows come home. All those Cake grinds have given me quite a stock of mana consumables that are worthless in normal battles but make great fodder for proficiency grinding. The new custom fonts are nice. Too bad I can't use them because it messes up the equipment stats list and the various other crowding issues already mentioned. Looking forward to when this gets fixed.

QUOTE(foxhound @ Sep 6 2009, 12:02) I'm starting to wonder what the people who're saying that the monsters are hitting harder are doing? From what I've experienced they still hit the same as before, they just have a little higher HP, and decide to gang up on you a little bit more (ie by round 20 of cakefest you're regularly fighting 9 enemies, and the number of enemies doesn't fluctuate as much as it used to do anymore. So you'll be consistently fighting 7 to 9 enemies.) Edit: I'm also getting quite curious as to what effect artifacts will be getting, seeing as I've already managed to collect 4 of em. Is the artifact update still far off in the future or can we expect it any week now? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) They definately do hit harder on Cake. Before update with Shield on 27 supportive prof. i was mostly receiving 2-5 dmg from monsters. Now with the same stats i get arond 10-15 dmg from monsters. Not sure what is causing it, Tenboro probably forgot to mention something in the OP log. QUOTE - Mobs no longer have reduced hit points on Cake. The only thing that's different from normal combat-wise is that monster damage is reduced.

Blue Hedgehogs on Normal Arenas hit me for 40-60dmg now. they used to hit for around 30 (just as an example). The other minibosses also hit me harder. normal monsters hit for around 2-6dmg more, but thats because of shield/support proficiency interference. type2 monsters having a bigger dmgoutput is the only thing i've really noticed.

Just bought a decent dagger as an offhand weapon. Oooh, these double hits should be fun. Just need to amp up the dual wield proficiency now.

I don't know if any monsters have directly been made stronger, but I do know this; Avg damage taken per hit: 4.44 Avg total damage taken per round: 181.33
That's 50% of my total hp on cake, average for the first 15 rounds. And I'm in all heavy gear.

QUOTE 59 1 Stop beating dead horses. Oh, Tenboro, you joking clown, you. Despite all the nerfs for plate and all the buffs for mage, I still wouldn't change yet. Maybe next Update will bring us great enlightment.

Well I did notice cakefest getting quite a bit harder (down from 50 rounds average to 20 rounds average), I wrote it off to the more hp, gives the monsters more chance to attack. However now that i'm looking at it I do seem to be taking a bit more damage, especially from piercing attacks.

Looks like a major turning point... Maybe I should have gone with mage.

Bug report! There's still something a little funny about Focus and Defend. I can't replicate the problem every time (it seems to depend on what's been used earlier in the battle), but it goes something like this: 1. Click "Magic" 2. Changed my mind. Click "Magic" again to deselect it. 3. Click "Focus" 4. It fails to proc, and "Stop beating dead horses" appears in the battle log. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Neither Focus nor Defend will then work no matter how many times I try them... until I do something like cast Weaken, after which they start working again. Other than that, thanks for the update. I have no complaints whatsoever about the rebalancing. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Thanks, to the godless liberal for the update, too bad I sold all my light armor. Oh well, I'll just have to pick up some. With the up date, I can look forward to being a dual wielding mage again. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif)
