Weapons used:
High bleed axe, high parry rapier

Armor used:
Mixed holy mitigation and raw evade. End result ~50(60) holy mit and ~30% evade

Spells used:
depr. main Silence and Poison, minor usage of Slow.
supp. main Regen, Haste (Arcana), very minor (once or twice) usage or Cure I
-full ranks of the holy spells for the addition 20% rating, translates to +10 holy mit (for my total of 60)

Items used:
6x Mana Elixir
1x Last Elixir
1x Bubble Gum

could have been done with 9 Mana Elixirs.

There wasn't to much strategy involved, mostly making sure silence stayed up 100% of the time and lots of clicking.

Can I see the stats on those weapons? And where the hell do you get such good gear from? The highest evade I can get is 27%, and that's before I start substituting Thrice-blessed pieces.

Rapier - found myself

evade gear I also found myself, phase chest 8 evade, phase pants 8.5 evade, phase shoes 5.5 evade. The rest is silk fleet, subbed for tribless in this case. My max evade is currently 40 with a full evade setup.

forget bring a scroll of Gods and only bring a lesser health (draught, potion), lesser mana (draught, potion), average mana (draught, potion), average spirit draught, but I use an Ethereal Weapon (really save my life (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) ). use 'weaken', and 'bewilder' in same time, and only a lesser mana potion.

now I bring a scroll of Gods, but forget use (fortunelly I don't have use that). bring 1 great health potion, 1 great mana potion, 2 great mana draught, 1 average spirit draught, 1 great spirit draught (use an ethereal weapon again). use great mana potion only.

Sure would have been nice if I had ever gotten Phase back when equipment drops were good. If you got 8+ evade Phase at that level, there's no telling what I would have gotten. I've never gotten a single piece of phase out of thousands and thousands of pieces of equipment. That seems like a statistical anomaly.

At least I still have a bunch of 8+ evade silk. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

The 8 evade phase chest is a crude level 75 :/

I think I remember Gil saying he had 15+ evade phase pieces before his smiting.

OK, so I borrowed a bunch of gear to do this, but I learned some important stuff about this bitch that'll help others defeat him.

Just like Marcho, I did not use an ethereal weapon; I used his uber-high-bleed Axe. After level scaling and DW prof bonus, it's bleed was ticking for 501. I also kept PA'd poison going, which ticked for 135-171.

New things I did which Marcho didn't:

1) Infusion of Darkness + Bubble-Gum + PA = shitloads of damage for 7 turns.

105 4 Spreading Poison hits Invisible Pink Unicorn for 164 damage.
105 3 Invisible Pink Unicorn hits you for 247 holy damage.
105 2 Invisible Pink Unicorn gains the effect Bleeding Wound.
105 1 You crit Invisible Pink Unicorn for 1327 dark damage.
104 4 Replenishment restores you with 56 points of magic.
104 3 Invisible Pink Unicorn gains the effect Bleeding Wound.
104 2 Your offhand hits Invisible Pink Unicorn for 683 dark damage.
104 1 You crit Invisible Pink Unicorn for 1365 dark damage.
103 6 Replenishment restores you with 56 points of magic.
103 5 Bleeding Wound hits Invisible Pink Unicorn for 501 damage.

I also unleashed my spirit attack on my first turn of Bubble-Gum effect, which dealt 12k. Hardly worth writing home about, but there is a more useful way to utilize your SP. Since you don't need to save any for Spark of Life, you can wait until PA procs, and do what Marcho calls a "mini-spirit attack." With just 2 SP (gained from battle regen), my spirit attack was hitting IPU (with PA) for 600-900. So, every time PA proced (which wasn't often, since my rapier is my offhand, and has a relatively low proc chance), I'd refresh poison and then drop a mini-spirit attack on IPU.

Strategic use of Slow is key. When I'd get to about 50% HP (of my ~2100 HP), instead of casting Cure (which heals me for ~800), I'd cast Slow on IPU. This would slow down his damage enouh that Regen would be able to recover me to 100% HP on it's own. I had to cast Cure a few times, when IPU followed up my Slow with a few crits, but that only happened twice.

The reason that Slow is better than Cure for this is because it costs a little less MP, accomplishes the same thing as Cure (bringing you back to reasonable health levels), and also increases the mana efficiency of Silence. It doubles Silence's effective duration, meaning that Slow's net mana cost ends up being approximately zero.

And that was how the whole fight went. It just requires a lot of concentration, because you need to make sure Silence is up at all times, need to maximize PA'd poison time, and need to watch your HP closely, all at the same time. For almost an hour.

Thank goodness you don't have to kill him more than once.

Yeah, I haven't even tried. And I haven't been on the site for 3 days, so I haven't level to get to 150 when I was going to try it.

To be fair, core and I sort of count as the same completion, he used my axe, rapier, robe, pants and gloves. :D
He cleared it more efficiently than I did though... D: infusion slot and high arcana helps.

But yeah, perfectly doable at level 110 without ethereals if your gear is otherwise good.

Otherwise good? Three pieces of pre-nerfing of phase is not GOOD, it is insane. They don't make stuff like that anymore. I've found one piece of phase and don't even use it because it is not that great.

Its actually the axe that was most important for me. 0.2% of its health gone per tick.

I'm pretty sure anyone that can get 50 holy mit, 25% evade and 20% parry with a strong bleed and PA offhand could finish it. Possibly even less. basically takes two solid tribless pieces, 3 silk fleet or just high evade pieces, a high parry rapier and high bleed axe. The phase certainly helps, but you can do near as good with silk fleet. I could not have done it without the bleed though.

yap, more difficult than the bosses, 3xPA+Spirit Attack only took down a little bit more than 1/2 of is HP.
Good thing my Rapier has a very good attack multiplier.

The fun part was that she attack with is spirit attack and never touch me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
first was parried, second was evaded, third was blocked, and the fourth was missed (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Some goddess was watching today for me (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

cmdct, Word of warning... Mikuru, Ryoko and Yuki are significantly harder than Konata.
Also, if you take down Mikuru, if you are using a rapier be aware that Ryoko takes 1 damage from piercing even with PA on.

And lol hito yeah that helped. Would have cost me a few extra elixirs without that, 35 mit on one piece is a big help.

I see, thanks marcho, I will be extra careful with the next ones, probably Mikuru will be the last I engage with a rapier on the main hand, unless I learn magic which I don't want for now (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

Bleeding will be the key for me, at least I believe in my axe which needs a lots of training first (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Although I have some questions:
Since the 3 of them are weak to holy does it means that the PA+Spirit Attack will cause less damage that it made at the others?
If I use a infusion of Divinity I suppose it resolves the problem or is going to make more damage?
And infusion of Gaia it will have the same effect? (since infuses the attacks with all elements, even with their resistant element)
