Is it me or is supply exceeding demand by a large margin ATM? I was pondering offering you my Magnificent Charged Phase Cap of Heimdall (L.335) but I'm not if it's worth it because:

A) You already have one in stock for auction (although mine is lower level and very slightly better)
-and-
B ) I don't want it languishing in auction for months with no potential for a buyer.

Same with my Legendary Jade Power Armor. Even low level (under 350) equipment doesn't seem to be selling much. Not enough HV players these days I suppose.

You're trying to sell things that aren't especially desirable and very common (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Magnificents are extremely common & nobody actually wants them for anything besides placeholders anyway... but certain ones are sellable (radiant heimdall, charged elemental, both prefixes for fenrir) albeit not for much.

Legendaries are also very common these days. Demand mostly really exists for optimal prefix/suffix combinations. Not all legendaries are born equal.

That said, sending a dupe to auction is not a problem. They have different stats & at different price points, they may attract different buyers.

Sadly, over these past 3 years, the said criterias have gone up slowly and steadily due to the market being more and more flodded with better quality items as well as average quality items.

In the case of that one particular type of equipment, you need to ask yourself "would I even buy it myself?". Chances are that you probably don't find it particularly great, and that if you were aiming to play a budget holy setup, you'd probably be looking for plain Legendary phase and then resort to Mag Charged if plain Legendary is really too rare/expensive to your taste.

Frankly, do expect to have stuff laying around for months when submitting to my auctions, if it's not the top-notch. The very system has been designed to make up for the lack of potential bidders within that range of levels. In the case of your Mag Charged of Heimdall, I have no doubts about it going away for a fairly good price and within 1 month. It'd be very unfortunate that no holy wannabe would be attracted by it.

But then you have to consider one thing: do you prefer having equipment laying for months and then selling for a gooe price, or selling immediately at a garbage price?

That picture of evil Rin from this week's auction is from a playmat and sleeve set I ordered from Japan via EMS in the beginning of April. (Though I do not have it yet, as it got stuck due to the virus. I believe it is on a boat now, as tracking showed it depart Japan in the beginning of June).

This artist's name is 我美蘭. There's another goods artist with a similar looking name 曽我誠 who stopped releasing when the other artist appeared, so I thought they might be the same person, but it seems not. The other artist drew this C86 playmat/sleeve set which I have multiple copies of:

I don't know if there is any digital image of this one though. Sometimes the artists don't want to release them for merchandise because it makes them easier to bootleg. This problem just started in Japan this year, they even seal the bootlegs in the same kind of plastic wraps and dare to provide twitter links to their bootleg organization on the product itself.

This particular old playmat and sleeve set was recently mass bootlegged this year, other bootlegs I've seen were more recent. I just bought this C86 set from Suruga-ya, and it turned out to be the bootleg versions. The reputable stores are supposed to be experts and on top of this sort of thing, I hope they figure it out soon.

no, you send the item to the auctioneer (decondelite), attached in a MoogleMail. He'll put it in his next auction for you. But only if it's good enough to sell of course. Then after it is sold, decondelite sends you the credits minus the auctioneer fee (no fee if the sales price is low).

I'll spare everyone with the details: I'm going to resume my auctions shortly. They will be slightly different than before in spirit: I just won't bother with useless entertainement, I will just do the minimal work, but at least I will be very serious. Except a thread to pop up in the WTS on this weekend or on Monday to introduce the new auction conditions to everyone and gather the first equipments to the reboot. The first one of the reboot will be auction #161, according to my backups.

Feel free to suggest things and stuff here in the meanwhile, while I'm readying and bracing myself for the painful work.

Alright, I guess I'll post about it here. No auctions this week. And starting off next week, I will create a thread once every 2 weeks, the bids lasting for one week and a half. I'm struggling to keep up with the pace right now due to IRL, and I barely receive any new equipment anyway.
