Actually, no we don't know what script has the right ranges. We have had some issues with erroneous ranges for power armor at some point, and we actually have no idea what are the real lower values for now.
This is what Toolbox uses: ['ADB', 21.89, 25.73, ['power helmet', 'slaughter']]
I can make an update to Toolbox (since f4tal is long gone) to make it match the wiki and probably add more values (like the ones I usually add by hand in the auctions), but even that isn't guaranteed to be 100% accurate.
As I already said several times, there needs to be some investigation with the values stored in my database to find out what the actual, real lower values are. But it takes time and I still have other priorities for that.
I've updated the values in the auctions with the ones that match the wiki ranges for now, but you're warned: the 22/27% could very well be the right values.
It pisses me off how everyone considers that Live Percentile is the one that holds the correct information, while it has been proven that there are bad values stored in the database that it digs.

hmm... I just confused because the difference is too big... I also sometimes see a ~1% difference from both script, but I always think it is because of the rounding... sorry for the inconvenience... m(_ _)m

We've always had that kind of issues with power armor, so it's no biggie. At least i'm pretty sure that the non-slaughter ADB lower value stored in Toolbox are too low.

just checking, are rapiers also affected by old %range data or did something change? I haven't seen different stats on leg rapiers before, but maybe I just missed it somehow. Legendary Tempestuous Rapier of BalanceI see ADB 23% / 1%

The current known values for non-slaughter rapier ADB are this: HV Toolbox/wiki: 31.95/39.38 Live Percentile: 33.65/39.38 Database (as of 03/04/2019): 33.65/39.38 Still, that doesn't mean that Live Percentile or the database are right. If anything, the values reported on the wiki are most likely closer to reality, even though some of them cannot be found in the database yet. Until Superlatanium finally decides to do his job and players start using the HV Items script, you can pretty much consider that there every range info is bullshit. At least I can guarantee that every equipment that finds itself in my auctions does feed the database, since I do use HV Items. Same goes for all equipments that are laying in the bazaar while I browse it. In other words: pretty much all ranges are currently unknown. Does it answer your question?

Yeah. I did change some values in my toolbox table to be in line with extrapolated values because I haven't seen any counterexamples from current version ids. I just wanted to confirm you see the same % as me and that it wasn't any recent change I missed.

I have a question regarding the time for quick bids to end. When you record a bid and the end time of that item, what time zone is the time with respect to?

Same than the main timer: UTC. So yes you may see a different time between what you see as your post time, and the time I write down.

Little bump to prevent this thread sinking too far away.

Could you extend bidding duration after quick bid to 2 or 3 days? Since your auction often has little competition, I hardly check items status after bidding them. I once saw a staff that I really want, bid start price on it, leave then return after few days just to see "pop it's gone" because someone quick bid it right after I left (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif). Appreciate your low-mid level auction and WTS shop, otherwise I might be still rocking at normal difficulty with Superior and Exquisite equipment.

Tell me what's the point of quick bids if it can't help you win an item before the end of the auctions / get rid of possible competition / force the competitors to come to an end as quickly as possible? What you're asking equals defeating the very purpose of the quick bids, which is a big, fat NO.
If you really want to win an item, then bid accordingly instead of trying to be a cheapskate. If you decide to bid as low as possible without reaching your true maximum and to go away, then you must accept the consequence of risking such unfortunate situations. As i've already told to a hanfdul of players, there is a limit to how much I can/should protect players from being sniped, and then it's their responsibility to make sure that things go smooth for them.
I have no intentions of modifying the quick bid system. It does its job exceptionally well and guarantees a fair balance for everyone.

Hello, D; Congrats on reaching the century mark with your auction. Thanks for building a place where all players can buy and sell a wide variety solid equips at reasonable prices. Great job. -T

Congratulations on your 100th auction!! Great achievement, your auction is now the go-top place for low level items. And, that quick bid system has proven itself!

Hi.
On top of notifying my absence for two weeks starting off next week, I'd like to clarify a little thing near a few players who still think otherwise: I, am, NOT, making profit by running my auctions and WBT/WTS. Or at least, the margin that I make gets sunk in my WTB expenses and I'd be better off playing PFFEST if I really wanted to make money. This is seriously infuriating to be accused of making (unfair) profit at the expense of newbies, while I'm working my ass off like no tomorrow for them.
So to back up what I'm saying, here is a little report on my general activity regarding HV: Weekly time to process the WTB - Around 30 minutes of estimations (1 hour during heavily loaded weeks), 15 minutes to process the purchased items, 15 minutes to disptach them when selling back. If I do sell them back at all, which can be clearly seen by the large amount of stuff that is lying in my WTS and remaining unsold. Weekly FreeSHop activity - Average 5 minutes since pooaa is here (thanks a lot, you're an amazing help) + around 1 hour to process the donations and update the listings once every month General server and database maintenance - Amount of time varies, but when it kicks in, it can often take an entire afternoon Hosting the databases and HV API - Currently represents a flat loss of 10hath/day compared to the theoric maximum I could reach with the host. At the current 3615c/hath, it's equivalent to around 250kC a week. Managing the auctions - Around 2 hours every sunday, for a margin that usually ranges between 100kC and 200kC. I'm not counting the extra work during the week. The entirety of the margin gets eaten by the WTB. Various charity actions - Yes, I do hand over (hard earned) credits, hath and consumables as charity, but I don't say it out loud in public.
So, to all of those who dare to say that I'm making profit, that I'm hypocritical or God knows what else... Please do get lost. I don't give a shit about anyone's recognition, and certainly not the troll's. I do all of this just because I like it and to fill out some gaps in this game. If I wanted to make money, I'd farm PFFEST like a pig, abuse my knowledge to make you overpay for everything while buying everything at a bargain.

Hello. Due to a critical hardware failure, my tools to manage the auctions (and many other things...) have been lost. I have a backup of Auction #120 in another drive, but there would be simply too much work to reconstruct my data for Auction #124 onward. At the very worst, I can rebuild the data for Auction #124, which would then allow me to prepare #125, but I simply do not have the time to do it before the end of the week.
Conclusion: I won't be holding auctions this week. Next week I will, certainly.

Maybe you have a secret admirer then (I had one, too). Posted on 29 September 2019, 17:28 UTC: Finally I found BlueWaterSplash's profile picBut when I submitted myself to the swimsuit contest I was only given 140 credits. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)
