I'm finally able to do IWBTH just fine now. Thanks all for the advice!

I replaced some of my gears through rentals and freeshop, and tweaked my gameplay... But it turns out that I'm missing a critical piece of the puzzle...

Monsterbation!

I'm actually able to handle about 90% of the enemies. With about 8% that'd wipe me out in 4 rounds, which is actually not a problem if I watch out. It's the last 2% where I get on the bad side of RNG and ended up with 3 or 4 enemies with high spell/skill crit that'd bust through my spark of life in 1~2 rounds that's been killing me, and the script stops me from fighting further as soon as my life gets low. Plus, by modifying it a bit so that all my buffs are now on alert is a great help as well (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

The bad news is... I still can't get a decent main hand or off hand. I'm still using my old lvl 132 shield and soulfused superior ethereal shortsword... Can't really find much of an upgrade in the freeshop or the rentals (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

Maybe I should just dump 50~100k in Evil's shop and get a decent weapon (I've given up on finding a replacement for the shield for now).

P.S. And I would never want to do the "End of Days" stage again. Reminded me of the Endless Eight episodes of Haruhi, which I suspect is the whole point of the design.

Radiant 300k Charged 800k.
And add J5 maybe can buy set not over 8m.
I think that is very cheaper than holy.
(The holy cloth sold for 70m in auction.That was scared me.)

I can cost more,but i don't know if it's worth it.
I play 1h half year,want to faster to clear.
So...i want to buy same toys to try it.

Imperil: charged. Better and faster (except for SG arena's).

Is there a limit to the number of artifacts you can get in a day or am I just having bad luck getting more artifacts from arenas?

~2-5m a piece for armor
~5m for a staff
~5-15m for IW depending on snowflake
~5-10m for decent forging
And you can run pretty damn well

Just made it to level 200. How viable would it be to continue going 2H mace of slaughter and maybe heavy armor for the next hundred or so levels? I've been using a mace of slaughter weapon type since the beginning and the thing is, I've really grown accustom to it. Being able to hit multiple enemies along with hitting them with multiple stun is really nice and really helps keep the regen going. I really can't imagine not having it. I know the wiki recommends going rapier + shield at this level but I was looking up the rapier and single targeting + skills don't seem all that great to me. In fact, it looks like things will be a lot slower to me since I'll be facing 1 enemy at a time. Any thought?

1h will be slower, but gradually you won't even clear the battle with 2h without scratching your head bald.
but, any playstyle will work if you decrease the difficulty.
1h is simply the shortest and easiest way you could clear the highest difficulty with the most 'reasonable' budget. literally no playstyle have better survivability than 1h as it have innate "passive" stun against monster.
