Roughly up to what PL is it more effective costwise to use crystal upgrade compared to happy pill for morale? In doing so, should I just upgrade the mitigations? Since PAB upgrade costs a lot more crystals.

Sorry if this is listed somewhere that I missed, is the % of a spells effect listed during combat taking abilities properly into account? I'm assuming it is just a display issue during combat but wanted to be sure.

Roughly up to what PL is it more effective costwise to use crystal upgrade compared to happy pill for morale? In doing so, should I just upgrade the mitigations? Since PAB upgrade costs a lot more crystals.

VERY roughly, around 220-ish IF you have the pills perk (effectively doubling the morale restored per pill, which is the same as halving the pill cost). Around 300-ish otherwise.

This with pills valued @1000 each, and CP valued @24k (and cost equally distributed between PABs & MITs xtals, indipendent of how much morale each restores).

That's what I'm doing with my monsterlab. Numbers are a bit rough thou', because I don't think it is important to be excessively precise, and the exact calculation is quite difficult; they could be off by as much as 20%.

Also, what do people use Flower Vase and Bubble Gum on? (I was guessing PFUDOR Triple Trio and the Tree, but if clearing Spaghetti 2x is better than TToT once then my other guess is when all other pots are on cooldown.)

By people that for some reason want to spend more money than they make from PFFEST altogether.

personally i think is better to save blood tokens just for FSM, some days i can't get enough blood tokens and clearing TTT's reward is a little less than 2*FSM
and vase+gum is just for mages, monsters hit really hard on pfudor grindfest later half, so more damage is required to finish each round as fast as possible, but using vase+gum is expensive, only for high end mage players with really nice gears and crystarium 5 to maximize earnings, otherwise is a waste

Some mages use them on PFest, but it is really not cost-effective.

Only a Bossmonster, they have a rare chance to appear in RE, IW and GF. I guess in your chase it was an RE.
