QUOTE(Fap.Fap @ Feb 24 2019, 22:25) and what happens if I max both things, will it work against each other and reduce each others drop chances again?
if, and this is a big if, the chart on the wiki is accurate, equipment roll occurs before artefact roll, so quartermaster would slightly reduce your chance to get artefacts

Good call, gents. Per the Wiki - Loot Drop Rolls / Increased Drop Chances... "Additionally, because equipment rolls occur before artifact rolls, increasing Quartermaster will slightly reduce a player's chance of getting artifacts and other items." Also under - Items / Artifacts: "Artifacts - Items that can be exchanged for certain random benefits at the Shrine. They are quite rare, but the chance for them to drop can be increased via Archaeologist (up to doubled) and Scavenger training while training Quartermaster very slightly reduces the chances of getting an artifact." Hmmm I'm wondering if there's an equip-stat-after-forge calculator around? I suck at math and I know the formulas are up on wiki, so maybe someone has made a calculator? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Just wondering what is the final difference between, for example, a 0 forged 100% MDB staff and a 100 forged 1% MDB staff. I assume there is a difference, ofc, but how significant?

How does prof gain work exactly? Is it based on the effective prof or the base prof? I'm inclined to believe it to work according to the base prof makes more sense.

QUOTE(Uncle Stu @ Feb 25 2019, 20:35) Mmmm it looks like just a forge cost calculator, not a "final stats after forging" calculator Uncle (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Wait wait I think I see it... Ehm, i am not sure what you mean by effective or base prof. But it works like Your prof < your level you get more the lower prof is. Your prof > your level you get less the higher prof is. Yea but my question was if you throw in the prof perks then your proficiency rises by 10% + there are bunch of prof equipments that provide you with proficiencies. I was wondering if these extra prof that come from equipment and perks affect your prof exp, i.e. makes it slower.

No, dont worry. Afaik they are just calculated as a extra bonus to your lets call it base prof while your prof gain doesnt care about that bonus.

Just imagined a world where DD is additive. My pants are wet.
This might be a dumb question, but does clearing arena at a higher level result in greater the exp gain? More precisely, once you reach a level where the Max PL you will face is 2250 (PL cap), do clearing the same arena at same difficulty at level 400 and level 500 have different exp gain? I thought this should obviously be the case, but player level is not a factor in the exp formula according to the wiki.

I never really care about it so I never really look at each arena exp gain, but there's certainly a gain at how fast I get to certain mileage, especially before I reach 400, but after that I only do what I can do which is clearing all arenas (yes even the first few if you have time) and do GF / IW if I have more time mmm..
