Assuming the equipment is worthy, it should be worth the average cost it takes to achieve Jug5. If the equipment is not worthy, it may not recoup the invested cost. If you got Jug5 on a superior armor it wouldn't be worth anything. An equipment is worthy when the buyer believes he would have been willing to achieve Jug5 on it himself.

I checked a lot of item world logs and the expected cost of But+Fat=9 is about 1.3m credits, and the expected cost of Jug5+Any5 is also 1.3m credits. Plain Jug5+Any+Any is much easier, I didn't check how much but probably 400k~600k.

As for imperfect things like Jug4, or But+Fat=8, they are worthless if the equipment is too good for that, as well as being valued less if the equipment is too poor for that. Item worlds should fit the value of the equipment to achieve full value.

Jug5+Cap5 or Jug5+Holy5 would be worth even higher, but most people don't think it's worth it, so in all likelihood the value won't exceed the 1.3m of Jug5+Any5 (meaning you insist on 2 potencies but don't care what the second one is).

If the equipment is good, it has allready a good price by itself, so it is imo just naive to think that any IW would bring people to pay more for it. I cant see it. And that i cant most of the people actual IW equipment before they sent it to an auctions proves me right imo.

forging materials are gift from your monster in monster lab...
at least once in 3 days your monster will gift you something like low-high grade materials, special mats like phazon, or bindings...
you could also get bindings from shrining pony figurines, but I would not recommend it...

e...I created several monsters(~=5) and received some material like low-cloth.... never know all these important bindings come from here.... so stupid i spend lots of token to level up monsters...

I mean, if you do it yourself/free IW service from someone, having IW 10 is better than not having anything at all.

Will it increase the cost of your equip if you want to sell it? Depends on the type of equip.
Those gauntlets aren't worth much, even with jug5 + cap5.
Still worth more than no IW at all.
But not much different.

Hence, if you had to pay for IW (either buying services or spending shards) it's def not worth it.

And yes, imo it is worth. You will be able to do it faster when you get stronger. Even as 1H i only need a bit more than 30 minutes for DwD atm.

Btw did you use everthing you could to speed things up? Lets say you play 1H, and i dont know what you play, but lets pretend you do. In that case you could have use imperil and vital strike to kill those SG together with an infusion on your weapon it shouldnt be too bad.

Hey my t/s is shit. With good t/s i would be allready near 20 minutes. But even with shitty t/s it is not that hard to get near the 30 min marks. And sure you could now say, but uncle your are Lvl 500, and i would answer, yes i am, but i also use a non slaughter set, so it is in the end not so hard to even surpase my damage. Imperil and infusion should still help you if you dont use them allready.

Idk about 2H because I don't play it, but at least as 1H I find it helpful to imperil every round even on non-SG monsters. Plus it gets your deprecating proficiency higherj so I'd recommend that. For infusion, use either divinity/darkness that's different from the element of your weapon since those last three arenas have monsters that are esp weak to those two elements and they are the throttling factors of clear time.
