That reminds me, another benefit of slow leveling, and possibly complete hibernation (stop fighting entirely) is that effectively speeds up the rate that other people drop stuff, so you can wait for what you want. (Although if you are someone who measures your progress relative to real world time elapsed, you should keep fighting).

Sometimes, just having credits is not enough, you need to wait for someone to drop the equipment you want, and they have to be willing to sell it. If you have other things to do in your life, you can go into hibernation while only checking auctions for a while.

Also, Fat+But=9 may not be that necessary on non-endgame rapier. I think anything that doesn't have swift strike will probably suffice?

but even with 2 OP I still sometimes get parried without Overwhelming strike...
I experienced getting parried 2-3 times by the same monster...

Yeah, i guess you will be. But it really would be nice to have some numbers to compare. Well, if i ever get another rapier at least close to mine i will actually try out But5Op4. Not that i can see that coming anytime soon.

I actually used qr12345's Dark Descent Service to reforge it a couple times. Actually it's not really an end-game rapier (60%/66%) but I wasn't really gonna make any more investment into 1H so I wanted to get the best possible out of it lol. I guess maybe I should follow your advice and get whatever w/o swift strike. I guess maybe I should settle with something like but+fat=7? Also, is getting jug5 more doable? Of course it will be easier, but as in 'it's easy enough to get on a non-endgame gear?'

Anyways, thank you for offering help and maybe I will contact you if I have to reforge lol.

Hm, i am not sure it is actually easier, of course you just have to target for 5 instead of 9 potencies and dont really give a fuck about the other 5, but there are also much more potencies you could overall get. And also Capacitor is imo completly useless if you play as 1H. Everythingelse would reduce elemental damage or give you a few more HP to surive critical hits and such, but cap? Gives you nothing but a few more MP, so yeah, useless. Also i wouldnt even say that having all your equipment with Jugg5 is nessecary. I dont even have that today. *sigh* Could been at over 40k hp for a long time now. Well, whatever, like i said it is not as important as the IW of your weapon.

from my experience, getting Jug5 is easier than IW for weapon...
dunno the cause though, maybe because there's no unwanted potency like Swift Strike???

although I also accept Jug4 if that piece isn't good enough...

aight aight. Thanks for your inputs. I just hope I don't get something liike but4 fat4 then swift strike so I ahve to reforge it - that would be shit. I thought it wasn't gonna be too hard as when I saw IW logs that are pretty short, but apparently those few just got super lucky :/

I think that arctic rapier is good enough to demand But+Fat=9, or at least But5+Fat3. I checked a lot of item world logs and the expected cost of But+Fat=9 is about 1.3m credits, and the expected cost of Jug5+Any5 is also 1.3m credits. Plain Jug5+Any+Any is much easier, I didn't check how much but probably 400k~600k.
