QUOTE(Uncle Stu @ Feb 15 2019, 08:48) Of course it is overall worth it, why do you think it isnt? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) Ehm, but you know that for the end result it does not matter in what order you do that right? I mean forge first or DD first, in the end you have the same damage. And some people are just too stuborn to actually buy forging materials and bindings so they actually get even DD2 before they have fully forged their set. Or at least i have heard of such uncles. Of course i am not talking about any uncle you would know, the uncle i mean is called steve. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif) Well uncle actually you made the right choice I think lolol. rapier forging 99->100 and forging power slaughter 29->30 roughly same as DD3. forging power slaughter 99->100 is roughly DD9 lmao. Just don't ever do it I guess lolol QUOTE(KamuiSeph @ Feb 15 2019, 08:53) No no, Uncle. You don't get it. He basically said "no one knows where Lithuania is, of course, you also don't know where it is but that's *where my server is" He said that to a fucking Lithuanian (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I am laughing my goddamn ass off. I've said *basically* the same thing like a million times before (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I actually live in New York, but since this is hilarious as hell I just might as well be Lithuanian lolol. Fuck you uncle, how dare you say such thing to a Lithuanian (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) QUOTE(mundomuñeca @ Feb 15 2019, 08:57) I think that what he means is, after converting the cost of DD1/DD2 in credits, and comparing the ratio of (ADB increase / credits) for it with that for forging, he came up with his conclusion; namely, that it is more worthy to invest in forging up to lv. 5 or 25 of whatever, and after that spend those credits ih Haths for DD then more forging ... which I don't know, because I haven't done the math, but sound at least plausible (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Yep you got it. It's a super rough and personalized estimation tho. For me my weapon constitutes about 15% of adb and a piece of power armor about 7%. This post has been edited by Saioux: Feb 15 2019, 16:01

Your forge lvl might be too low, buying a ton of catalysts, bindings, mats.... Or just click once for DD Plus, personally I feel bad about wasting mats for equip that's sub optimal. Like, I forged my rapier (even though it's not that good), but it still feels bad to spend all those mats on something that I'll have to salvage anyways. But DD doesn't care if I have decent enough gear that can be forged without worry. It's just DD QUOTE(Saioux @ Feb 15 2019, 22:57) Fuck you uncle, how dare you say such thing to a Lithuanian

QUOTE(Uncle Stu @ Feb 15 2019, 09:01) Now i am confused. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Who is now from lithuania? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) And what did i do? I didnt even made a panzer joke. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) I'm just messing with you. I love you <3. I think what KamuiSeph thought was I actually live in Lithuania, so our interaction appeared to him as follows: A: (lives in god-knows-where, makes self-mocking joke about nobody knows where he lives) B: (explains in detail where god-knows-where is) Which is, pretty hilarious to me as well lol. Yea, that's a good point. This is all really theoretical and only applies to something that you'd soulfuse. In general it's a lot more convenient to just DD if you have money upfront, but I guess given you have a equip you want to keep for a while, there's no need to save up for DD until you reach those forge levels. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) And what did i do? I didnt even made a panzer joke. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif) Lemme break it down. Saioux: hey KamuiSeph, I got a seedbox in Lithuania LULZ Where even is that, amirite? Uncle: Lithuania is here lol, look at a map. KamuiSeph: LUL, Saioux, I was like BORN in the country and you're sarcastically asking me "where is this country"? FUNNY BRO. It's like a line I use all the time. People ask me where I'm from, I say "Lithuania, but no one knows where it is anyway lol". Saioux: Uncle! Why did you say such a thing to a Lithuanian? KamuiSeph: ???? It wasn't Uncle, it was YOUUUU!!!! And.... Scene! Hope that helps. Yep. Except not the B part, I never explain anyway. I just let it hang there (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) BACK ON TOPIC BOYS/GALSQUOTE(Saioux @ Feb 15 2019, 23:04) I guess given you have a equip you want to keep for a while, there's no need to save up for DD until you reach those forge levels.
Exactly. Having money upfront, DD is less of a hassle. Saving up and already have soulfuse worthy equip? Welp, forge is going to be better for you then. Takes time to save up anyways, gives you time to search out good prices for mats (plus get some gifts from your mobs) and it probably will end up costing less than DD too. Yep, I live in Japan but was born and raised in Lithuania. Hence my reaction (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) I only know of one other Lithuanian here, Rikis (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I'm still laughing lolol. My god, I mean yea sure, there certainly can be some Lithuanians on this forum, but what are the odds that I say where is Lithuania to a Lithuanian lmao. QUOTE(Uncle Stu @ Feb 15 2019, 09:17) You know my face looks like this (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif) and this song is playing in my head. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2f_Vjz66gh8So i guess the answer is no it doesnt help. Maybe tomorrow i will know who lives where and why lituania isnt where i thought it is. Until now i didnt even knew a whole country could move. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Okay so, KamuiSeph lives in Japan, but was born and raised in Lithuania. I have no association with Lithuania except for my seedbox server being located there. Uncle is just confused because he heard "Fuck you Uncle" for no reason. I'm so sorry... Just think of the conversation and remove Uncle's comment from it. That's all (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) QUOTE(mundomuñeca @ Feb 15 2019, 23:17) Wait what, for both things? QUOTE(KamuiSeph @ Feb 15 2019, 16:22) Wait what, for both things?
Yeah, both. Now, I know things there have been ... let's say "complicated" from the fourties till the nineties of past century. But I doubt you are old enough to have spent the greater part of your life in those times. Instead you became adult when a new, unexpected, difficult but also exciting and unforeseeable future was unfolding in front of you. With dangers but also possibilities. As they say, "may you live in interesting times" can be both a wish and a curse. It depends. It depends on a lot of things, last but not least personal individual luck ... but the general path in Lithuania has been one from worse to better for quite a good number of people, especially for the young; which is surely better then being part of a country where the general path is from better to worse (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

QUOTE(Saioux) what do you mean by outracing Dawn EXP? Keeping Dawn EXP proportion among total EXP as low as possible?
Again, not dropping anything useful during 300 and 340 is not a problem at all. That's what I mean. Outracing Dawn Exp also has another purpose besides increasing (apparent) drops, it keeps your proficiencies higher. I agree not dropping anything is not necessarily a problem, that's why this entire discussion is only for considering drops, and not a recommendation for play in general. QUOTE(Greshnik) with Dawn + RE only you probably will level up in 18-19 days... with daily arena only I think it will be faster than that (maybe ~10 days???)... and you will get better drop chance in RE round than regular arena round... if I have limited play time, I'll definitely choose Dawn + RE than daily arena... I agree, but note that I said earlier that skipping Dawn could be viable for high level players with no stars, especially around level 450 to 480. In that case, perhaps 90%~99% of their exp comes from Dawn. By skipping Dawn, leveling slows by up to 100 times. It could be worth it. Also when you are higher level, with more Quartermaster and Luck of The Draw training, my unproven belief is that your arena drops become better quality, and start to become comparable to Random Encounter. At least that is how I feel, after I nearly maxed my trainings in a short time period.
