It is not so bad, especially if you choose long adoption periods. 1yr, or even better 3yrs. But, selling GS is a bit faster and slightly more value for money. But it is an easy way to get more daily income. I do run a couple of adopt-a-servers at this moment, but not as much as RS.

RoadShoe is a legend. A legendary HV god. Well, maybe still rather an intern to the legendary HV gods. Or rather an intern to the secretary of the legendary HV gods. Or rather, a sexually abused intern to the secretary of the legendary HV gods. But that still counts! He is in there!

Too many legends (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

How many servers do you need to be in the top list? Is it sufficient to get a shining sticker? (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)

I'm considering adopt servers before next century

I think RS had 30 at one time. Me, I'm running 5 atm. That is enough for whatever you want, as long as you are playing for a longer time. 5 will not get you a reward, though. My rewards are for other contributions.

Why specific elemental variant for weapons is considered better?

What's the order of preference (and why)?

Would (element) strike be better than void with the appropriate setup?

Void is better, but you get it anyway at IW 10. Against Schoolgirls, dark or holy works best, as second strike next to void.

I've seen a lot of preference for arctic though?

and people seems to avoid fiery. Is this purely preference or is there any reason (e.g mitigation) since most monsters I see have all mitigations up to ¬75 anyway

Yeah cold has the lowest average ele mitigation (other than holy/dark). Also fire spike shield (Searing Skin) is probably the best spike shield, allowing Arctic/cold to explode it to deal more damage.

Fire on the other hand has around the highest enemy mitigation on average.

Generally mitigation-wise it seems Holy ~>= Dark > Cold >> Wind ~>= Elec ~>= Fire
If you're doing schoolgirl arenas though then Holy and Dark stand out quite a lot more though.

Of course you can also just use infusions.

How much credits can I expect to recover in Forging a decent mag power armor of protection to 5? It roughly takes about 300k (actuator), and if I can't even get 100k out of it I might as well not forge it and wait until getting/buying a leg piece.

90% material retrieved but no catalyst.
Assuming ADB+Crit+PMi+Str+Dex+End

Upgrade Cost=RA+MGM+Catalyst
60k*5+300*4*5*6+900*5*6
=300k+36k+27k
=363k

Salvage loss
=60k+~3.6k+27k
=~90k

Uh maybe I wasn't being clear but I meant about the price I can expect to get when I were to sell the item at a shop/auction. I know salvaging retrieves 90% material, but if I salvage I have to buy back at 5 times the normal buy back price

Mag power of protection, I really doubt if you would get the 363k forge costs back. Price is now 50-100k and will remain 50-100k, because buyers at that level don't seem to care (understand?) about forging.

Yea I thought so lol. I think I just have to suck it up a bit and go without forging and just forge on leg pieces, preferably on slaughter.
On that, any rule of thumbs around which level I'd be able to use slaughter over protection/warding without killing myself all the time?

So, I'm nearing 1000 hath soon, but I'm uncertain about which hath perk to spend it on. Should I go for Crystarium III or Tokenizer 1?

I only have about 13 monsters in my lab, though most of them are nearing the 500 PL, if that means anything.

Tokenizer, no doubt.
Don't spend token for chaos upgrade.

Sounds expensive. At the moment I only have 8 monsters and spend all my chaos tokens to upgrades as I fear buying more crystal packs to keep them happy even more than Penguinologists. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/unsure.gif)
