Because it is. I mean it will never ever pay itself off, because you cant even sell those peerl you dont want.

I can imagine that there are not many who have the "follower of snowflake" perk or plan to get it.

And yeah, it's probably not the most cost effecitve one. But to fully jugde it I would need to know how long it would take you to get a peerless out of it.

By now I have handed in 442,250 credits worth of trophies. Thats like 4,4% for the first peerless. So nope, not interesting for me at all yet. Even if it would only cost like 500 hath.

Blackjac00 has the follower of Snowflake hath perk and maybe roadshoe has it too or is trying to get it but I'm probably wrong about that.

How about asking blackjac00 or possibly roadshoe about it?

How long does it take you to make 10m in trophies?

Assuming you don't sell or buy any trophies and are devoted enough to gather them daily, your guaranteed income would be:

15 x boss trophy
7 x schoolgirl trophy
1 x sapling (T&T)

From schoolgirl arenas you should get additionally around 40 more schoolgirl trophies (403 schooolgirls, 10% chance for trophy drop)

Plus anything you might get from Ring of Blood (let's say you manage to gather enough for FSM daily, that would be one Noodly appendage and 3 more schoolgirl trophies)

Total:
15 x boss trophy
50 x schoolgirl trophy
1 x sapling
1 x noodly appendage

Summarize their worth (I don't remember right now), then divide 10,000,000 through that number and you should have the number of days it takes on average for one peerless.

Thats really easy, i mean even i do allready FSM, Kotana and Mikuru Asahina RoB everyday, so include at least two more SG and Bossmonster. Also when you play enough to do that, you have at least one monster encounter in IW or GF.

They kind of are because SGs have much more hp but not really stronger so you usually start rounds on full hp

Questions:

1. What's the formula for monster elemental mitigation to level? it doesn't appear to be on a 1 level gain to 1 mitigation gain ratio, seems dependent on base mitigation (-50/-25/0/25), anyone got the exact formula / roundings?

2. Is it generally efficient to do lower arenas (in terms of loot/credits per stamina) if you can clear PFFEST? (Assuming Crys V) What's the cutoff range?

I think it's because some high PL monster attack hurts more than SGs...
so with SG arenas have less monster/round, it will become easier than normal arena...

It is a veryy good idea, it will give you extra income. I think I saw a couple of WTB of 45m that have gotten their stars after 2 weeks.

What would likely be the next thing (or things) I should aim for if I want to stick with going 1H, instead of turning to magic? I just overhauled my gear, going from exquisite shade to a mix of leg/mag shade and vastly increasing my survivability/damage output.

Current gear:
Rapier
Shield
Helmet
Breastplate
Gauntlets
Leggings
Boots

I imagine DD1 would be the next hath perk to aim for since I already have IA5 and all <1000 cost perks?

In terms of my style in combat, I'm throwing up Imperil at the start and then just hovering over the enemy until they die. The OFC gets busted out if the situation calls for it. Is that fine or are there improvements I could make there as well?

Is there a point in doing IW for shield? It doesn't even have Jug. Also, is there any point in doing simple IW except for the weapons?

EDIT: If I were to get an ethereal rapier, is it viable to reforge until I get the right elemental attack, i.e. hallowed/demonic/arctic, or is it not worth it? If I were to throw in butcher5 and stuff I think it's probably not worth it but was wondering if anybody has ever done it lol

I think on higher lv. 1H don't benefit more from light armor like on the lower lv...
light armor's adds attack speed and evade which improve your survavibility on low lv. as your stat still not enough...
but actually 1H don't want both of them to maximize the counter attack...
so I think you better switch to power armor instead...

nah, it don't worth it....
if you try to get the right elemental strike on top of But/Fat, I don't want to imagine how many shard needed...
just try to get your preferred potency and accept the elemental strike you got...

I am no sure about it but it should be exactly same as the stats in monster lab.

I don't play arenas below Fresh Meat since there are too few monster.
It might have some worth if you want to grind tokens.
I didn't make calculation nor take record for it though.

Is there any way to stall a round without using OC/MP/HP?

I'm in a fairly stupid dilemma due to CD/OC mechanic, and I need to somehow at least let stun runs its course so I don't get fucked over due to CD.

Honestly that's one of the two points I wish would get fixed eventually: that you can get 'weaker' as you level up, and dealing less damage / fighting stronger enemy can make the game easier.

well if you want to leave it to IW9 I think you need to maximize the forging first, as every time you forge your equipment get a little bit of pxp... (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I don't get where the IW9 suggestion came from.

If I understood correctly, you can get IW10 strike + prefix + normal attack + enchant strike. Leaving it at IW9 means you're missing out on the IW10 strike for no reason at all.
